Product Description

Product Description

“Buckle up--this is another crazy ride!”

The Scrapyard Ship sci-fi "cliff-hanger" adventures continue with HAB 12, the second book in the series:

Captain Jason Reynolds faces new challenges, not only on Earth but from the far side of the universe as well. The only way to stop the Craing this time will be to square off with them on their home turf.

Jason's been informed that three powerful Craing warships, having similar technology as The Lilly, will soon be en route to Earth. The Alliance must destroy the Craing's wormhole means of distant space travel to avert Earth's total annihilation. Unfortunately, there's no way to reach the Craing worlds in time, at least not through conventional means.

It's up to Jason and his hand-picked assault team to traverse, by advanced phase-shifting means, through the hazardous environment of HAB 12. This is an adventure fraught with carnivores of a Jurassic Age magnitude, and a terrain so deadly that turning back may be their only hope of survival.

Note from the author:
Don't be surprised by cliff-hanger endings. I'll do my best to keep Scrapyard Ship as well as the Tapped In series books coming so you wont have long to wait for the next book. Enjoy!

Shameful exploitation of your customers to leave the reader hanging mid-sentence with a "to be continued"! After 6 $ for both books I have yet to read a complete story.
Edit: thought perhaps I was a little hard on the author...I really enjoyed the story overall. Yes I was a little pissy about the end, oh well.

An entertaining adventure, buy not quite as good as the first book. The story line meanders across a pretty thin plot which centers on having to make it through some sort of zoo chamber in order to save earth. If using the zoo is so easy, then why would you need space flight. Apart from this flaw ... it was a pretty good story.

Ignore the previous review. The book does end with a to be continued because the author clearly plans to continue writing in the same universe. This arc was nicely written leaving the reader wanting more. If you liked the first, you will enjoy the second. Support an indie author by buying!

OMG ! The whole series is fabulous ! Even better than Star Trek ! I can imagine the battles going on. The interaction between the different caracters really comes to life and you end up cheering their victories and feeling sad for their losses !

My problem with this is that the ship and technologies are macguffins. They seem to be able to solve every problem with technology, except where it would be inconvenient to the story.
