Robert Graham takes us on a wild journey with his character Jacob. I love how you are drawn into the emotion and confusion he feels as he describes his experiences. The story is told so vividly you could almost see what is happening; as if you were watching a movie. What really impressed me is how he turned the story around and told it from another perspective. It really added to the journey and I look forward to future releases. If you are a true sci-fi will love this book.

HASH(0x9afe9840) out of 5 stars Exciting sci fi story April 13 2012
By lydaalexander - Published on
Format: Hardcover
This is a really interesting story, and deals with people's perceptions of reality and dreams. Jacob Cross is researching cures for insomnia, but finds out the government has found a way to use his research in ways he never intended. As he explores what they are doing, he is taken on an adventure that includes multiple realities, and he much determine how to keep his memories of the current reality straight.

I thought the book was really good, and was interesting and kept my attention very well.

HASH(0x9af28d38) out of 5 stars Compelling Science Fiction Page-Turner! Dec 8 2013

Format: Hardcover
The concepts in Seventh Generation are brilliant. It’s obvious that the Author has significant knowledge in philosophical and science fiction writing. If you want to go on an amazing, mind-blowing fantasy, read this book. I love the way the Robert Graham develops the characters and expounds on the story line concepts. There is so much detail in the writing. It made me feel like I was part of the journey as the Author crafted these complex concepts for effortless, smooth reading. I felt like there were some lessons to be learned in this science fiction novel, leaving me to ponder reality, perception, and dreams for hours after I set the book down. This book energized my imagination more than any other book I’ve read recently. Loved it.

HASH(0x9ad75c30) out of 5 stars Mysticism and Science Fiction! July 17 2013
By H. Abbas - Published on
Format: Hardcover
To be honest when I started reading this book, there was way to much going on and it felt overwhelming at times, but towards the middle is when it all changed for me. The idea of the spiritual world and experiencing Jacob ascension from his current being into a being of light, all at the same time, diving deep into the mind altering technology that Netex was developing, and then tying it all in together, it was just truly profound. The author showed a deep appreciation of the complex concepts of mysticism, mind control and futuristic technology. Looking forward to the next one in the series!
HASH(0x9ad14f0c) out of 5 stars A surprising new look at science fiction by young and upcoming author Robert Graham May 29 2012
By Christian - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Seventh Journey is a surprising new thriller by new author Robert Graham. The story takes us on a journey through several planes both familiar and uncanny as the hero, Jacob Cross, searches for a way to stop an impending evil from entering our world. I don't want to give too many details of the plot away as Seventh Journey is a novel that unwinds with every page; the plot being the central focus. While those who seek out more personal character driven stories may not find what they are looking for here, readers interested in sweeping fantasy and science fiction should feel right at home with the idea heavy, plot driven narrative Graham has crafted.

Robert Graham's first attempts at writing a novel should fair well with today's fast paced readers. The plot unfolds quickly, the dialogue and diction are easily readable and move the reader along with the story. Some more mature readers may find Graham's prose overtly simplistic at times, catering to the common reader rather than the literarian. Others looking solely for a serious philosophical meditation or purely spiritual help guide may be disappointed that the message is layered between a mainstream action fantasy thriller. I was initially off-put by the mainstream presentation of the text, but for those who are able to look past initial skepticism Seventh Journey still provides an exciting and fresh experience for any science fiction and fantasy reader today.

Graham's novel provides an introspective look at the epic story, with a message verging on new age philosophy.
I would classify this book among other spiritual and philosophical writers such as James Redfield and Richard Bach; unlike those writers however, Robert Graham seeks to deliver a modern myth full of action, suspense and romance that should please avid movie goers and contemporary readers alike.

If you are the type of reader who is interested in epic sweeping stories about good and evil I would recommend Seventh Journey to you. If you are interested in spirituality, the occult or science fiction I would recommend Seventh Journey to you. Seventh Journey is a novel which caters well to today's fast moving audience without disrespecting their intelligence. For a fast paced, fresh new look at science fiction and fantasy with a new age twist I would take a look at Seventh Journey.

Robert Graham's first entry into the literary world shows he is a talented writer with a lot of growth potential. I for one am looking forward to seeing that potential blossom as the Seventh Journey saga unfurls. It is not often that we are met with a text that seeks to deliver all the thrills while imparting a serious and philosophical message. Though this is only the first part of what seems like a long series of novels, the plot hinted at in the first volume of Graham's work seems to allude to much bigger and legitimately interesting things to come. I know I am looking forward to being a part of the ride.

I'm pretty passionate about good science fiction and this is good science fiction. Robert Graham takes us on this journey with Jacob where imagination is unrestricted by reality. The story follows Jacob where his experiences would make the normal person go crazy. I enjoyed how I was able to understand to the chaos in his environment based on drifting between worlds, conspiracy and trying to perfect the technology. Most of us go crazy with normal work related deadlines. Robert has introduced us to some very exciting characters that adds to his powerful story. The characters that really grabbed me were the villains. I must admit that I wish they were introduced sooner but understand why they came into the story when they did based on the flow. I always felt a sense of fear in sections where the adventure turned to Aidan and Luzige. I also admit that I really enjoyed that the story took place in Canada and there were things I can relate to. I've read a number of books where they describe cities I've never been to. While interesting, I couldn't relate but this time it was nice to make the associations. I found while I was reading, the narrative came to life in my head which kept making me turn the pages. I'm really looking forward to other stories in the journey.
