Keep this book, SHOOT, handy. Read the safety rules & fundamentals Aoften. Build good skills. Safety FIRST--> for YOU & EVERYBODY ELSE. Your SAFETY skills will ALWAYS be more important than your shooting skills.
This book didn't get into my hands until after my first competition. I stopped & read this book. I was so impressed that I started immediately and read it again. I wanted to get this information on every level: repeatedly. I wish I had started competition shooting A L O N G time ago. It is great fun! It builds confidence and self respect for energy IN = consistently better and more refined results. And the folks who are involved in shooting & gun clubs are the nicest folks I've met in ages! C'mon, join us!!
It is very well written and it was exactly what I was needing.
Julie Golob uses plain language (doesn't talk above your head w/ shooter's lingo) and encourages you to research the sport.
