Not good for fine hair

I have fine hair that is damaged from dying it and is a tangled mess after I wash it so I was looking for some extra help. Based on the positive reviews I thought this would help but it turned out to be a complete waste of money. The product can't go anywhere near my roots or else it looks like I haven't washed my hair for a month. And if I don't put it near my roots then when I comb through my hair I lose chunks of it because it does nothing to help with the tangles. Even if I just try to use it as a serum after blow drying, I still didn't find it helpful with the split ends so I just ended up putting it in the garbage.

So, I bought this product because I started trying to take proper care of my hair. I have type 2a/2b hair and all I ever did was shampoo and use a normal brush to brush it while wet.
I started blowdrying it and using volumizing products and found my hair to be dry and brittle due to all this new use of heat & extra products.
I've been using the silk therapy serum for less than a week and the difference is astonishing already. It's so soft, I can't stop touching it lol... and I know I shouldn't be touching it so much hahaha CAN'T HELP IT
You only need a tiny amount, and you should put it a few inches away from the roots because it's oily. This huge bottle is going to last me a long time due to the amount required, definitively great value for the price.

I have tried this product in the past & loved it. I will no longer be purchasing it through this vendor. The bottle was open upon delivery, therefore leaking half the bottle. Not fair for how much it costs. 3 stars because I believe the product works.

I've been using this product for over 12 years. I've tried Chi and Argan oil, but I always come back to this. I put a small amount in my hands and rub it into the ends of my hair when its slightly damp after the shower. After its dried, my hair is silky smooth and tangle free!

I apply a quarter sized amount or more daily (especially in dry sunny weather which causes frizz and damage) or every other day (need less during cold winter). It keeps my hair silky soft and shiny. With this one, I can use every day and 6 days later till you wash hair(for my kids I wash hair only once a week) it still smells fresh and it helps hair to stay hydrated and shiny. I and my mum use this product as well for the ends of the hair. We have fine short hair and it does not make it greasy. I know its a bit on the pricier side, but its deffinetly worth it.

BUYER BE AWARE. THIS PRODUCT IS FAKE. If you compare this Biosilk with the ones that are sold in the store you can immediately tell the difference with out having to open the container. You can tell by the way the liquid moves inside. The liquid inside moves like if it's water... the REAL Biosilk moves slowly because its real oil - like oil liquids should move. Then when I opened the bottle an opened the seal, the smell confirmed it. It smells like alcohol hair spray. Do not put this on your hair. The bottle comes sealed and has the same ingredients as the original one but it definitely isn't the same product.
