I really love the simple this book is written and it is the way I have responded to Muslims. They are people first & need to be respected as people.

HASH(0xa5fcab40) out of 5 stars Very good!!! July 17 2012

I thoroughly enjoyed this ebook. While it repeats a lot of the information in his book, Muslims, Christians, and Jesus, it is still good material that is quite practical in terms of what one might do to reach out to Muslims. I always appreciate Carl's books that although low on scholarly stuff are high on love and pragmatics. Some far right conservative Christians might tremble a little with Carl's openness and non-churchy, non-dogmatic approach toward people of other faiths, but they probably don't enjoy the success that Carl does reaching others for Jesus. Keep cranking them out CarlD! Another book you might want to check out is one written by Matthew Stone, PhD at Reaching the Heart and Mind of Muslims

HASH(0xa5fcad8c) out of 5 stars I laughed and cried Oct. 28 2012

I loved reading this book with my wife. We love Jesus and our friends from other countries.
Carl invites us to be genuine, loving and caring for real people always living and loving with the heart of Jesus. We laughed reading his stories and cried as we realized how much Jesus loves everyone, no matter what their background is, where they came from or how different they are.

HASH(0xa5fcad50) out of 5 stars Great book, but is written in a Muslim cultural context, not western. Still a great read, very informative! Aug. 15 2014

Great tips on how to reach out to Muslims. However it is told from the perspective of living in a Muslim culture. If you are living in a non-Muslim country and want to reach out, the methods and stories are transferable but will need some modification. Loved the book and have recommended it to several friends already.

HASH(0xa666d060) out of 5 stars It's a good read but I don't see that his style has produced more fruit than the approach of Samuel Zwemer. Nov. 12 2014

Carl has experience but in the end, I don't see a massive response from the Muslim population that he has sought to reach. After 26 years of working in very militant areas for myself, nothing ever surpasses the simple and steady proclamation of the Gospel while demonstrated by love for those you share with.

HASH(0xa666d0c0) out of 5 stars Short, simple, helpful June 15 2015

It gave me a fresh way to think about evangelizing, not focusing on content, but on relationship and reality. It would be great for every Christian to read it and challenge themselves to a fresh start in connecting with others on a spiritual level
