Corporate CEO Sterling Prescott of Prescott Media had built his fortune on taking over businesses for pocket change and turning them into gold. When he entered KTEX TV, he had intended to do the same. But all bets are off when he finds the sexy lady who had disappeared on him the night before. By a mix-up, people thought he was Trey Tanner, one of his ex-employees. When Chloe makes known what she things of Mr. Sterling Prescott, he decides to let everyone keep thinking his name is Trey. For Chloe, he decides to actually save the station, instead of taking it over. Chloe and "Trey" must work together and create a reality show to bring in heavy advertising dollars quickly.
***** There is more going on than what I state in that synopsis. But to give you more would ruin some delightfully wicked plots and scenes. So I won't. Suffice it to say that Chloe and Sterling are a perfect match. Recommended for ladies who enjoy some humor with their modern day romances.
Now that readers have seen Kate and Chloe meet their equals, it is time to see Julia meet her own. Be on the look out for the last of this trilogy titled "Simply Sexy", due for release Nov. 2005. *****

Trey is there under an alias, little does anyone know at KTEX that he is Sterling Prescott. He knows Chloe is the woman from last night, however her appearance is completely different than the minx he met. The chemistry is not going away though and Trey can't stay away, now he just needs to get Chloe on board.
This was a fun romantic story. It did have where it goes into emails, which I found distracting with the flow of the story. Had some humorous moments.
I loved Sterling Prescott (35). He's tall and commanding with his dark intense eyes and dark hair. He owns a room when he enters and people sit up and take notice of him. Sterling Prescott is intimidating, proud and arrogant. He's remote...he keeps to himself. He socializes only when necessary....he's not interested in making friends. He's a corporate raider who preys on struggling media corporations...he's buys and rebuilds them...or sells them off in pieces. He's a predator always on the prowl for new prey.
Ms. Lee opens her witty story with an accidental meeting between our two protagonists which results in almost...ALMOST... having sex in a bathroom. And then a quick escape before names are given. This beginning is so intriguing I was quickly ensconced into the story. I liked the characters....all of them. I liked how Sterling is mistaken for someone else. The misunderstanding gets away from him before he can do anything about it.... the lie has gone too far for him to stop it. I loved how confused Sterling's feelings made him feel. He never before experienced wanting to tease or flirt with a woman. He never cared enough to do those things, much less pursue a woman. His life revolves around work...he has no personal life. But he wants to tease Chloe and have fun with her doing it. He's utterly baffled by these foreign emotions.
This story was too, too juicy. This rich, arrogant, proud man who is in total control of his actions and reactions...who never ever diverts from a plan, goes to El Paso for a hostile takeover of a TV Station and instead he A)...succumbs to an intriguing female stranger then B)..becomes obsessed with her to the point of changing his aforementioned plans, then C) takes a bet with his little brother (whom he's trying to convince to reconnect with the fam. back in St.Louis)...that he can save the very station he's going to destroy and then D)...he devises a plan to bring in revenue to the struggling TV station, saving it, and E)...falls into his very own ingenious trap with no way to get out without losing the bet with his little brother (thus losing him altogether), and losing the girl he's become infatuated with. His life quickly spirals out of control and it was great. This story was full of witty, humorous dialogue and hot sexual tension with a little bit of love play that does not overwhelm this fantastic plot. How refreshing. The characters are describe with brilliant clarity making a visual connection inevitable. There are no holes or loose threads. Brilliant, humorous story...brilliantly told.
For the most part, this novel delivers on its promise, although I enjoyed the character development of the hero, and his transition from uber-rich American aristocrat to normal hometwon boy, more than I enjoyed the love story between him and Chloe. Chloe is likeable enough, but I didn't think Lee gave her as much depth as she did to Kate, or Julia in the next book, even though all the elements of a unique character were there.
There is also a lot of build up towards book 3, Simply Sexy, that may have taken away from book 2. However, having read Simply Sexy prior to writing this review, I think the plot development of the storyline for Simply Sexy that was included in this book was a crucial build-up, so that Simply Sexy could start without any backstory whatsoever. I can't say I approve of authors using bookspace to get you to anticipate their next novel - rather than concentrating on the story at hand - but it was effective in Lee's case this time.
I wouldn't recommend reading Sinfully Sexy on its own, but you'll enjoy it if you've read Suddenly Sexy first, and plan to read Simply Sexy next.
The book had just the right amount of suspense and romance throughout the story that kept me turning pages and anxious for the next chapter.
Definitely a five star rating for this book and author, it was exceptional.
