Product Description

The heat building between them is ready to erupt, threatening to shatter the wall around a soldier’s heart.

Former Green Beret, Zackary “Sin” Sinclair has a secret nipping at his heels. And he’ll do anything—go anywhere—to keep that info locked down tight. Including playing along with the news that he’s the father of his best friend’s little sister’s baby. But there’s no way in hell that’s possible since he hasn’t touched a woman in years. That, and his best friend has no idea Sin’s been hiding the fact he’s gay since they were teenagers.
KinKaid Wolf Pack Enforcer, Aydin Michaels is his cousin’s new pet project. If he doesn’t sober up and fall in line, he’ll be kissing his new career goodbye, and more than likely, packing up to head back east. The last thing he needs is a smokin’ hot human male with eyes that turn him inside out trying to play his hero.
When a bar fight goes wrong and Sin ends up bitten, Aydin is charged with tracking him down—before he shifts—and educating him about those in the world who aren’t quite human. Rule number one: in order to survive, shifters stick together. But convincing the hardheaded soldier on the run to stay put, preferably with him, is easier said than done. For Sin, putting down roots means paying a price. He either betrays a friend and risks losing the only family he’s ever known, or walk away from the man who’s claimed a piece of his soul.

Zackary “Sin” Sinclair has a secret he has to keep locked down tight so he has no intentions of putting down roots until an accident leads him to a man who claims a piece of his soul in this spellbinding paranormal romance.

Aydin Michaels has to sober up and fall in line or he’ll be kissing his new career good bye and the readers can’t help but get pulled into the story when he accidentally bites a human who turns him inside out. The chemistry is intense and flows from every page with vibrant heat along with emotional turmoil as both Aydin and Sin find themselves in a hotspot of trouble and facing some difficult decisions all while trying deal with the scorching attraction that burns between them and these strong, charismatic characters grip the readers by the heart as they do so in this fast paced and smooth flowing plot full of suspense, turmoil and romance.

Anticipation starts flowing from the very first page as it soon becomes obvious that Sin’s secret is compounded by having to play along with his best friend’s sister’s secret and adrenaline pumping excitement and expectation builds when Sin plays good Samaritan and ends up caught in a whole new world of secrets and places Aydin in the hot seat once again, which leads to an exciting and tension filled encounters that keeps readers on the edge of their seat. The well written scenes are full of vibrant details that make it easy for the reader to picture each and every scene and to become engrossed in the character’s lives.

Visiting the KinKaid Wolf Pack is always a delightful experience and I have been waiting impatiently for Sins of a Wolf but it is well worth the wait as there was no way I could put Aydin and Sin’s story once I began reading it because they captured my heart and refused to let go.

HASH(0x9f5581f8) out of 5 stars Aydin is his name, Sin is his game, these two bad boys lit up my day Feb. 22 2016

I don’t know who said “opposites attract” but it certainly wasn’t Jessica Lee and she just proved it with Aydin and Sin!

These two bad boys, so similar in so many things (except their genetic makeup) were meant for each other – I not only love this book, but the whole series as well.

Jessica Lee is my comfort read. She never lets me down, she writes good, solid, well researched storylines (that are sexy as hell) with no editing issues and no typo’s (my personal pet hate) and very importantly, she always delivers.

Sin is deep in the closet, especially with his best friend. So when his best friends little sister end up pregnant and says that Sin is the father!….he goes with it. He can keep his sexuality a secret and let her have the time to sort out her emotions before “fessing up”. It’s all going well, until he meets Aydin.

Aydin is in trouble…….again! He can’t seem to sort himself out, he’s lost and spiralling out of control, so when the bottle or a fight shines like a beacon to him, he can’t resist the call. And he can’t resist his natural instincts too. In a fight, he mistakenly bites Sin. No big deal in the overall sphere of things, except Aydin is a wolf shifter and the “forbidden” bite, now means that Sin is one too!

And this is where the storyline gets really interesting. Not only has Aydin got to tell his Alpha that he has broken one of their cardinal rules, he’s also got to tell Sin that his life has just changed totally!

Meanwhile, Sin is finding that the lies are escalating and he’s got to keep on the move before they catch up with him and now he’s been told that he’s a wolf…….WTF?

Can these two bad boys see that it’s not just great sex but something more? Can they both have the lives that both so desperately crave and of course, their’s still the little matter of the baby….

Loved the chemistry between Aydin and Sin and I liked the way the author manages to convey the message that though we have come a long way in accepting equality for the people we fall in love with, we still have a long way to go, as not everyone has the freedom to love who they want to. But we will get there.

Though part of a series, it is a stand alone as well, so don’t be out off by the book 4 status.

Five Sinfully Wolfish Stars from me.
****I would like to thank the author for the privilege and opportunity of reading this ARC. My review was an honest opinion of the book****

HASH(0x9f558240) out of 5 stars Really enjoyable continuation to the series May 20 2016

Review written for Love Bytes Reviews.

Stopping for a drink in a local dive bar seemed like a good idea at the time but that was before Zackary Sinclair found himself bitten while attempting to break up a fight. All he wants to do is clean himself up and get some sleep but instead has to deal with the man he tried to help while listening to some crazy story about shifters and how he’s going to become one too. When its proven that the man, Ayden, isn’t, in fact, crazy, Sin finds himself in a world he never knew existed and with a secret he’ll now have to keep. The only problem with that is being a shifter isn’t the only secret Sin is keeping, or running from, and with the instant attraction to Ayden complicating matters, he’s finding it harder and harder to leave but that just makes it worse because Sin knows he can’t stay.

I’ve read every book in this series save for one (too many girl parts mashed in with my boys in that one) and I’ve enjoyed them all, this latest offering being no exception. Like the first book, Sins of a Wolf deals with the aftermath of a human accidentally being bitten and what that means, not only for the individual, but for the shifters as a whole. I found Sin’s reactions pretty spot on with what he’d suddenly found himself saddled with and Ayden’s remorse and determination to do the right thing by the other man was believable, as well. There were also the deeper glimpses you get to see of each man, like when Ayden helps Sin deal with an instance of PTSD, that brought a much needed dimension to their characters. The attraction between them was fairly instantaneous but didn’t feel out of place and seemed to fit well with the overall story line while the sex scenes weren’t so numerous that I felt cheated in regards to the story itself.

The best part about this book, however, was that even if you haven’t read any of the other books in the series you won’t have any problems understanding or enjoying this one. I’d recommend reading at least the first two books, however, as they were really good and you’d get a little more out of reading this one as a result but again, it isn’t necessary. This was an easy, sexy read with a bit of drama to keep the story from coming off as one dimensional and I had a good time reading it. If you enjoy shifter books you’ll probably enjoy this one and I recommend giving it a try, especially if you haven’t read this author before.

First of all this was the first book in the series that I have read and it was done so well that I didn't feel like I had missed anything, the world of wolf shifters was perfectly explained and previous characters who I'm sure books have been written about were not so ingrained in the story that I felt confused and annoyed about having not read them first. Although I do plan on going back and reading them asap!

Hot! The story was packing some major heat the chemistry between Sin and Aydin was off the charts!

After an accidental bite during a bar brawl Aydin is charged with finding Zachary Sinclair aka Sin and teaching him about the change he is about to go through. Their meeting tho has them both reeling to give into their attraction.

Aydin is a Grade A screw up, at least that's the way most people see him but really he's a sweetie who's just trying to find his place and move past the pain that has followed him his whole life. He is caring and understanding and I just loved him all around.

Sin is in hiding his choices leading him to try to stay one step ahead of his best friend. The one thing he's always wanted is a family and the only ones he ever felt that close to where his best friend and his best friend's little sister. So when Rachel puts him in an awkward position it doesn't matter because he do anything for her anyways even if it means alienating her brother. That's just the kind of guy he is.

These two each have pasts they need to overcome but I enjoyed seeing throughout the story as they opened up to each other.

Great afternoon read and one you definitely need to cool off from after finishing! ;-)

Who is Zachary Sinclair, aka. Sin? Who is Aydin Michaels? When Aydin gets in a fight with two members of the Gregorson pack, what happens? When Aydin stops to think about what happened during the fight, what does he demand to know from the Gregorsons? What does the bartender tell Landry and Aydin? When Landry makes Aydin go to Evin, what happens? What does Evin say and do to him? Will he ever get a chance to talk to Sin again? Who are Anthony and Rachel? Who is Christopher? What part in Sin's life to all these people play and what is he running from? There is so much dark in this story, yet at the same time so much light. We see glimpses into Sin's past as a soldier, and as a boy growing up. Then we see into his present and can guess at his future. I will state that this book does become HIGHLY erotic at one point and you'll have a hard time putting it down at that point if you haven't already had a hard time putting it down.
