Detective Natasha Foster will put her job on the line to prove her gut feeling is dead on.

When Detective Foster responds to the scene of a crash, she finds the female passenger dead, a bag full of money in the back seat and a body in the trunk. It is only when the driver, whom she nicknames Jay, wakes up with no memory that she must go with her instincts and continue the investigation in a way that was never taught.

Jay finds himself lost, but drawn to the beautiful detective who steps above and beyond the call of duty. Natasha Foster is a detective and has been called to the scene of an accident where two people are dead and the driver is unconscious. When the driver awakes he has no recollection of the accident or who he even is. Natasha calls his Jay and now must go with her gut that tells her the guy is innocent.

Jay has no idea if he is married or what he was involved in. He can't deny his attraction to Natasha but not knowing his past is interfering with his feelings for her.

Will Natasha be able to find out what happened to Jay as he struggles to get his memories back and will they be able to hold off their feelings for each other as the truth begins to come out.

I thought the book was great and I loved the character of Natasha! She is a strong woman which is great!!

HASH(0xa068a138) out of 5 stars A great read that's wonderfully written Sept. 7 2014
By Christine Warner - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
There were so many reasons to enjoy and love this story written by Stacy Eaton. First off Six Days of Memories starts out with action—and the ending hooks for chapter one and two MADE me keep reading even though it was well past the time I should’ve turned out the lights and called it a day.

I’ve always enjoyed a mystery mixed with a romance, and this story has them both and then some. The action is immediate, and the dialogue is fresh and fast paced with no wasted words. I was carried away on an interesting story between several characters that I got to know easily through Stacy’s writing style. The secondary characters were awesome, but I loved the main character, detective Natasha Foster. She’s strong, has a great sense of who she is and wants to be, holds an interesting job she excels at, and is honest with herself and everyone around her. I’m sure that the fact Ms. Eaton shares a career in law enforcement only added to the reasons I found Natasha so “real”. I also liked the hero, Jay. Stacy did a great job in making his amnesia believable without going over the top, and at the same time keeping his character strong, full of integrity, and most important—likable.

The bond between Natasha and Jay is evident the moment they share the same page. They are instantly attracted to each other, but Natasha has a job to do and that’s to help Jay figure out whom he is and if he’s involved in a horrific case involving a car crash, two dead bodies, and a duffel bag full of money. Jay has to keep his attraction to Detective Foster in check as well—even though it’s difficult. After all, he knows nothing of his past—is he married, does he have a girlfriend, a family—or worse yet is he a criminal? Any of these will automatically kill any chance at something more developing between him and Natasha.

And the tattoo bond between these two was just icing on the cake. I enjoyed that aspect of the story and the little reveal toward the end that explained how it came to be. Sorry, I won’t share too much about that because I don’t want to spoil anyone else’s discovery :)

Another thing I like when I’m reading a book—that this story had in spades—is while turning the pages I’m able to learn something too. This book gave me several insights, including—tattoos, tae kwan do, karate—and that the next time I make pancakes I need to add vanilla to the batter.

All in all, this story is strongly written with lots of twists and turns. There were a few times I wondered just how Ms. Eaton would make aspects of Jay’s past work out and give him the future he wanted and deserved—and needless to say she did an excellent job in accomplishing these tasks and still making you LOVE her characters.

Six Days of Memories is a book I know I’ll read again. Definitely one I recommend and will add to my keeper shelf.

HASH(0xa068a468) out of 5 stars A Love Story - and much more July 5 2014

I just finished this book by Stacy Eaton and couldn't wait to let you and Ms Eaton know that - I think this is the best of all her books. First chapter pulls you in to a police investigation of an auto accident that soon develops into much more, leading you to chapter after chapter of suspense and the development of a great love story. Once you start reading, it will be hard to put down. What I love most about Eaton's style of writing is the talent she has to always writing the story with twist and turns that you would not expect, but are believable. Lots of behind the scene police work in this novel. The main story takes place in 6 days-- Boy a lot can happen in 6 days.

Six Days of Memories by Stacy Eaton. It's the first of her books I read. I was curious about the storyline. It was a little different from some others. I wanted to keep reading to find out if "Jay" was a good guy or a bad guy. I won't give it a way. The story held my interest and I liked most of the characters. I would like to read more of Stacy Eaton.
HASH(0xa068a54c) out of 5 stars Six Days of Memories is an emotional look into the lives of two people who find their "soul mate" in the most unlikely of places June 18 2015

Format: Kindle Edition
I really enjoyed Six Days of Memories by Stacy Eaton. The book is written in first person point of view, from both Tasha and Jay / Jamie's point of view. As the point of view changes, there are times when the author "back tracks" so the reader can hear how the other character expeirences and feels about the previous scene. It's an adjustment from when I usually read a book from multiple points-of-view, but I appreciated being able to hear what the other one was thinking in a scene.

Six Days of Memories is an emotional read. I found myself WANTING Jay to be a good guy and feeling the angst that he and Tasha are feeling as they struggle to fight their feelings for each other that they knew they couldn't act on at the time. I think this book also shows that you're innate feelings about someone's true personality are usually the right ones. It's difficult to talk about much of what I liked about this book without giving away spoilers, but I had to share this quote near the end that gives such an emotional look at Tasha and Jay / Jamie's relationship.

"Abbey had me walking out of the office, my face tense and filled with pain. I stepped out of view and Abbey caught Tasha staring after me, her hand open and lifted as if it were going to reach for something. She slowly closed her hand and lowered it to her side before she sank down into her chair and put her face into her palms.
I watched the video twice.
"What are you going to do with this?" My voice was husky.
"I'm going to save it," she said, and took the phone back from my outstretched hand.
I turned to her. "Why?"
"Because I want to remember what being in love looks like"

Six Days of Memories is an emotional look into the lives of two people who find their "soul mate" in the most unlikely, and inconvenient of places. The reader is left hanging until the very end to see if Tasha and Jamie are able to overcome their obstacles and find their happily ever after. I won't spoil it - you have to read the book to find out.
