While I am not flying around these days, I am still gearing up for the day when I might be cursing the long lines in the airports once again. I ordered this battery pack just for travelling and jetting around.
I like that,
- it pairs up nice with my larger battery pack to maximize total capacity without going over limit. 10,000 (this one) + 26,800 (my other, and largest allowed in one unit) = near limit (total Li-Ion battery capacity) you can take on a plane with you.
- it is a bit thicker than my other packs of similar capacities, but weights about the same.
- the LEDs are brighter than expected, and certainly brighter than my cell phone flash. Although I am not crazy about pressing the power button for 5 seconds to turn in on/off.
- nice of Blavor to include micro-usb and usb-c inputs. It is nice there is an added option when in pinch.
- and most important to me, the Qi charging works great. Now I carry one item rather messing with 2.
What can be improved,
- there is only one USB out. One more would be good.
- I am not sure if it is the bank or my iPad, but it charges slow. No issues with my phones though.
Other notes,
- the solar panel works as you would imagine. I suppose if you were stuck in the woods with a dead phone, it might save you (after a nice bright day) or you might get one with more solar capacity.
- Obviously I didn't do a drop test on a Li-Ion battery pack, but this pack does look much more likely to survive a drop than my regular battery packs.

The portable charger is very durable and amazing for adventurous trips/hikes. Unit feels rugged, is very non-slip to hold, is of a size that easily fits in a pocket, has intuitive change indicators, and has no loose components or rattles.
This power bank can charge in two ways:
1) through the solar panels on the top of the product
2) through the included micro usb charger.
The charger is obviously much quicker, however it is extremely convenient to be able to charge it wherever you are which is definitely the selling point of this power bank
I was able to charge my phone several times today as I was out all day running around. Perfect charger because it has every device covered! I love this portable charger. The torch light is bright as heck. Don't look right at them.
It even include a little compass, which is super cute and super thoughtful.
In the end, you couldn't really go wrong with a portable + solar panel + rugged + wireless charging capable battery, right?
