The unit itself works well. At first the soap dispenser wasn't fully opening, which we discovered was because we had loaded it poorly and had a plate blocking access.
Even with proper loading, you have to be careful to make sure your front row of cutlery doesn't stop that detergent door from springing open. The tolerance is quite tight. The door also seals quite tight, and the front panel does flex as you pull it open. Provided you don't handle it like a gorilla, there shouldn't be any problems.
That aside, it works very well, and even at the lowest rinse aid setting, we have no water spotting.
The documentation has its quirks, but is still easily understandable.
Long term reliability is an unknown, but I wouldn't have any hesitation recommending this to a friend.
