I have read a few of M.Clarke books and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed them all M Clarke has given us yet again another captivating story ,I totally liked the turns and twists that we get with this story also. The characters were so well developed and the story was well written and if you put all that together you have one hell of a story, and that is what M. Clarke has given us here. Rachel who is Becky's sister has decided to breakup with her boyfriend Greg, she just wants more then what she has with him,she has witness her sisters relationship with her boyfriend Matthew and the passion that they have for each other is amazing. Rachel really cares for Greg ,but she doesn't feel the passion for him, not the way her sister has for Matthew .So sweet beautiful Rachel decides to take a trip to Kauai just to get away and to have some fun. Rachel's best friend Stacey comes with her on the trip. And to their surprise meets two brothers one is named Hendrix and the other one is Jax. Right off Stacey is taken with Hendrix and Jax is taken by Rachel . But to turns out that Hendrix is friends with Matthew ,so Hendrix warns Jax that Rachel is off limits ,but Jax doesn't care what Hendrix said because Jax is a man that gets what he wants when he wants it ,and Rachel is what he wants. Rachel gives Jax a chance and she soon starts to fall for him ,but Rachel tell herself it just fun and that they will always have Kauai,Jax has kept everything a secret from Rachel ,But will Jax come about and tell Rachel everything before it's to late. Becky tells Rachel not make a horrible mistake like her sister did by being damn stubborn . And will Rachel tell Jax how she feels about him.I could go on and tell you more about this touching story but that would spoil it for you. I highly highly recommend that you read this touching story ,you won't be disappointed.

M. Clarke is a new author to me and this is the first book I read written by her. I wasn't sure what I should expect but I've heard quite a few good things about this series so I decided to check it out. Well, I wasn't disappointed. The story is interesting and entertaining and the characters are quite well developed. For me it is very easy to get sucked into the book and to lose track of time.

I loved Rachel and Jax and I was really rooting for them during the whole book :) At times I was a little bit frustrated with Rachel as she was acting a little bit irresponsible and stubborn but in the end everything came into place :) I definitely liked that she has a strong character and goes after what she wants. Well, in most cases ;)

Jax on the other hand is quite delicious. He definitely has the body to die for and on top of that he is a real gentleman and romantic on top of that. He was definitely a treat to read about. I have to say that I liked him more than Rachel, and not just because he is pantie melting HOT :) He is quite level-headed and not that rushed into his decisions. Well, except the fact that he fell in love with Rachel for mere days. But apart from that, everything else he did was quite well thought through :)

As a whole I think that Rachel and Jax fit quite well together. Their story was quite interesting and there were definitely some twists that I didn't expect. Which, let's be honest, is always a good thing :) I quite enjoyed the style of writing and I will be for sure checking the rest of the books in this series :)

In a few words, I definitely recommend this book to all romance readers out there. I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed :)

Review of Something Amazing (Something Great #4) by M. Clarke

Review done for Hooked on Books

4 ½ out of 5 stars

Rachel Miller has decided to make a change in her life. Not feeling a connection with her boyfriend of two years anymore, she breaks up with him. Rachel finds long distance relationships too hard.

Going on a holiday with her best friend to Kauai is just what she needs: time for fun and to let loose.

Jackson Clark is through with serious relationships. Having been burned once, he is in no hurry to go through that type of pain again. When he is visiting his brother in Kauai, he meets a beautiful woman that he just can’t stop thinking about. Rachel doesn’t want anything serious so this should be the perfect distraction for a few days.

A few days aren’t enough for either of them though. Their attraction to each other is too strong for their heart to ignore. Rachel won’t be in a long distance relationship again and Jackson is hiding something important from his past.

When truths are revealed, the pain is too much to handle. Jackson will have to fight hard to keep Rachel and Rachel will have to see through the pain to see the beauty in their love.

I loved this book. I thought the characters were great and the tension between Rachel and Jackson was perfect. It was great to also see the stories of the other couples in the first books of this series continued in this book as well.

I definitely recommend this book and series to read!
