Product Description

Whether you agree or not with the controversial and thought-provoking comments made in this highly unusual book, readers are likely to agree that the many dictums and observations have affected – if not changed – their own feelings about the concept of God, religion, love, and the simple pursuit of a good and rewarding life. Few books can achieve such a striking impact, and here is one to treasure and to reread this extremely influential book from time to time.

"Vish I am always moved to tears when I read anything from you, and I feel touched at a very deep level" Debbie Graham UK

"Your teachings are extraordinary and most rewarding. I'm quite amazed with my results ! Every chapter of your book just kept me more and more intrigued. Thank you for this life changing experience - Enejoh Obaje LA USA

HASH(0xa1833aec) out of 5 stars Can keep your mind free of judgement and hatred May 10 2012
By Bhava Jalanji "Simply Being Spiritual" - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Can keep your mind free of judgement and hatred

The author says, "The bottom line is that one way or another we are heavily influenced to either believe or disbelieve in God." I have to say that statement is true as to how we were "raised" in our culture. Traditions and books and such have had its influence on our lives about God. Sri Vishwanath does not wish to discriminate or judge others religious beliefs but to express his views on the goodness that is in all of us. This book showed an open mind to God and to how the human being "thinks" about God. The thought provoking messages, statements, and stories bring awareness to the forefront of your thoughts.

The author expresses how if we are human then we see God as human, but don't you think a cat see's God as a cat?! In other words the eyes of humans see him one way and the animals see him as another. Great point.

God is unconditional love, and we are all to love unconditionally as it is so believed by so many. Another great point the author makes is, "You can never find love inside of you if you think that hatred exists outside of you." How true!

The bottom line is that God loves you no matter what, how you are exactly today.
If you would like to pick up this book to help with your transformational efforts than I suggest it is a must read, to keep your mind free of judgement and hatred.

HASH(0xa1833b40) out of 5 stars A light-hearted but Deep read! May 12 2012

The book asks the questions each individual has about God. The answers one gets are really beautiful - not because it has some advanced knowledge or philosophy, but because it is really simple. It points effortlessly back to Us and makes us laugh while doing so. I felt light hearted while reading the book. I feel that if you want a `fine' read about `God' without any high philosophical lecture, the book is for You!

HASH(0xa1833e1c) out of 5 stars In my honest opinion.. May 24 2012

..I had to go back a few pages when I started reading, to ensure I hadn't missed something.

The author very well may be so enligtened, that grammar and the correct tense of words (like "a man and woman", opposed to the author's numerous "a men and women" throughout) become meaningless. I suppose once you reach Nirvana, the very thought of how you got there becomes irrelevant.

Perhaps the author should have wrote this book just prior to reaching his enligtened state. I'd like to think my own enlightenment isn't far around the corner, but if comprehending Sri Vishwanath's words are any indication of what being at one feels like, than I'm 40 miles away and travelling blindfolded in the opposite direction.

One paragraph simply reads: "God is enjoying His visit to earth. There's so much more fun, frolic and drama than in boring heaven."... Next paragraph. Early in the book, Mr. Vishwanath states, "I have attempted to place these truths before you in a manner which may appear startling and controversial to some, but they are meant to generate careful thought on how the concept of God affects us." With that said, the target audience is limited: the author is well aware that many people won't get it.

Although titled, "8 Common flaws in Human Thinking", perhaps a better title to define the contents would be: "In my honest opinion, God is.." This is in no disrespect to Mr. Vishwanath whatsoever, I just feel that great authors persuade you to view things through their point of view by the end of the book, at least. If Mr. Vishwanath's love for proper grammar and the correct use of words amounted to half of his love for God, this book would have had potential for greatness... in my honest opinion..

HASH(0xa1833d14) out of 5 stars Highly controversial but very profound May 6 2012
By Amazon Customer - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
So, what makes this book so special? There are many controversial statements and observations that the author has made about people and you will find that somewhere inside us we ask the same questions and do the same things that are mentioned in the book. The book takes us on a journey to find what the true answers are about the questions we ask about God. It explores the concept of God and religion and how you can achieve the higher power and reward your life with something better.
There are many teachings and sermons that you will find in the book that can change the path of your life forever.
