“In this brilliant book on the life and work of Vladimir Nabokov, Michael Maar once more proves himself to be a literary detective.”—Weltwoche

HASH(0xb2535690) out of 5 stars Superb translation Feb. 27 2011
By Gail Golden - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Hardcover
Ross Benjamin is a gifted prizewinning translator. I try to read all of the books he translates from the German because his prose is luminous and profoundly artistic. Nabokov fans and those interested in the intersection of life and art will appreciate tis elegant book by Michael Maar.
