Product description

Product Description

In one week, Princess Ro’sa will board a spaceship, leaving her home on Minjet to be with her betrothed on Earth. The only problem is, she detests the prince’s selfish and arrogant ways, preferring to spend time with his personal aide, a man who stirs her desires in ways she never imagined possible with his radiant blue eyes and smouldering lips. And oh, the way he touches her.

Earth’s post-apocalyptic landscape offers little, but the alliance offers much, and a princess must do her duty, no matter the danger to her person and to her heart.

A princess must do what’s expected of her even if she desires someone other than her betrothed in this captivating fairy tale romance.

Well written scenes and details captivate readers with suspense, excitement and a happily ever after romance. The reader can’t help but be taken in by the Prince who searches for his princess especially when he traverses the galaxy to get her and who can resist the princess whose duty will send her to a foreign land with strangers to save a planet. Passion and romance has sparks flying, danger adds excitement and a little mistaken identity spices the story up even more ensuring that the reader can’t put the story down once they have begun reading.

Magical…a true romance across the stars and a fairy tale happily ever after makes for the perfect quick and enjoyable read that brightened up my day.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mistaken Identity Feb. 13 2015

Cute take on a fairy tale. This is a short novella that does not take long to read. Both main characters are interesting and the mistaken identity works in the story.

Kay's Review
It's taken me a long time to listen to this audio book, mainly because of problems with my audible account. But I finally got them resolved and I'm so glad that I got to listen to this.

First of all let me give the narrator a full house of applause. Jon Filipko's narration was faultless. He has such a dreamy, sensual tone to his voice that pulls you in and keeps you listening right from the book title to the final words 'the end.' He was able to mimic the female characters as well as different male characters making it easy for me to picture them all in my head. I'm looking forward to more books with his narration.

About the story itself, my response is wow! As I mentioned already once I started listening, I just couldn't put this down. I practically ignored everyone else in the house for the 2 hours it took me to listen to this. Aren't headsets a wonderful invention? *grins*

Seriously this is a fabulous scifi interpretation of a fairy tale about arranged marriages, and mistaken identity. Even in a quick listen like this, it's packed with great characters, sizzling romance and thrilling action. This story has put this author in my must-read list. I loved this story so much I've just pre-ordered her upcoming 1Night Stand box set. I know you'll love it too. Go and grab your copy. A Fabulous audiobook.
4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable May 13 2015
By Nerdy Girl - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
The Star Princess is introduced by a storyteller who sets the tone for the story. As with the fairy tales many of us read growing up (or watch in movies or TV) the princess is about to meet her betrothed and she’s not sure what to expect since she’s never met him.

In this case, when Princess Ro’sa meets her prince, things don’t go as planned. Instead of a happy ever after with her intended, there’s someone else who catches her eye and her heart. Of course, it wouldn’t be a fairy tale love story without mistaken identities and a lot of angst, which fits this New Adult story.

Other than the fact the action deals with people on other planets and includes some technology, it’s not heavy with technology/gadgetry elements. So, it you’re a sci-fi romance reader and that’s your thing, this isn’t your story. But it works if you’re looking for quick read with romance and adventure. Unfortunately the audio book narrator tends to sound like he’s reading as opposed to acting out the characters, so I’m thinking it would be better to read the book version.
3.0 out of 5 stars Scifi and NA good way to give two sub genres a try Dec 16 2014
By Bookswagger - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
In this fairytale remix Princess Ro'sa will leave her home and spend her life with her future husband who she has been betrothed to since birth. Too bad her future husband's personal aid is more appealing, she would rather kiss him and share her first experience with him than the Prince. But promises have been made and when she finds herself torn from her family and on her way to Earth she finds she may get exactly what she wanted.

This was a new adult read and the voice fit, because there are just something's grown folks won't do and are too old for. The NA worked in this story and helped move it along. This read is 75 pages and Subject packed in loads of sci-fi, these people did not just stay on one planet, we get to see Princess Ro'sa on her home planet of Minjet and post-apocalyptic Earth. The romance was quick because duh this was an arranged marriage for some young twenty something's who wanted to love each other. So if you want a sci-fi fairytale you got it.

Straight to the Swagger: Quick 75 pages read to give you the sci-fi romance you need and a dip into new adult, not a bad way to give two subgenres a try.
