Not as described. It says it changes colours, it doesn't. It's not very bright and make very cheap looking. Not worth the price in my opinion.

HASH(0xa43abdec) out of 5 stars Neat for what it is, a big Night Light Dec 13 2011
By Kenna J Symulevich - Published on Amazon.com
My kids got these Night lights about 6 months ago. They are easy to put together, and they love the light saber night light. There are different colors they can choose from and the remote control switches between all the colors. I rated the product low as durable toy, but as a nightlight is is just fine. It isn't meant to be used as a toy for light saber fights, it won't hold up to that.

HASH(0xa43af210) out of 5 stars Pay attention to the description May 11 2012

This is a totally cool toy, but the description of it is a bit misleading. It says the light has eight colors, yet the Darth Vader model is only red. I was under the impression that it changed colors. It's not a big deal, but just so everyone knows before they buy this.

adds a nice glow to the room. I dislike the remote though, it only works about half the time... Also, wish there was a "Plug to charge" feature :\

I got this for my GFs kid. he absolutely loves it. The quality is really nice and everything works great. I had him convinced for a week that i had the force cuz I would hide the remote and move my hand and it'd turn on. Its great.

HASH(0xa43af678) out of 5 stars Don't buy this unless you plan on building your own blade with new leds Feb. 25 2016
By Steve - Published on Amazon.com

Piece of crap and you get what you pay for. They barely light up at all, are battery operated, and only stay on for 15 minutes. Bought these to compliment some Star Wars posters I have in my man cave. I decided to gut them completely and just use the saber hilts and wall mounts. For an extra $25 of parts per lightsaber I was able to rebuild the blades and have them all connected to eachother and plug into a wall outlet. Using the new led controller and remote you can dim them, flash, etc. Look SO much better now. If you already have these pieces of junk and want to get the most of them. Here's what I bought and did:

5mm leds: Ebay

Power adapter: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006QYRVU6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00

led controller: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MHKCTLE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

led driver: http://www.amazon.com/LuxDrive-Wired-BuckPuck-Constant-Current/dp/B00LWU1BIW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1456417396&sr=8-1&keywords=buckpuck

extension cable: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FTH6WNS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00

polycarbonate tube: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OMFM8Y?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00

diffusion film: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XJT7N9A?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00

packing foam sheets: ebay

Chain and solder the leds together creating an led blade. Wire them up to the driver and controller and plug. Cut the polycarbonate tube to size. wrap the led blade in the packing foam. Cut a piece of diffuser film the length of blade and feed inside tube. Feed the foam wrapped led blade inside the tube. Put it all together and glue. Done. I'm aware this really isn't a How To, I just figured I would share what I did and link to the parts. A quick google search of DIY light saber blades youll find all the info you need.
