I decided to try this clicker out seeing as we just started dog training classes and everything was done with a clicker. Class provided us with one but we needed one for each of us so i decided to invest a little more and spend the $5 per clicker. I am quite happy with my purchase so far. The clicker is about the size of your thumb and it is a little wider than most other clicker but that is because it is also a bit louder. It makes a different clicking sound than most others which is nice because it is distinct to my dog so other clicks dont mean anything. Its a great training tool but i wish it did come with a wristband as it is not easy to click and feed all at once.

This is a very loud clicker, given the small size of it. The dog is having zero issues understanding it as a distinctive sound.
This is my first exposure to a clicker like this, and it sounds just like a canning jar lid.

Clicker training is a great form of training for dogs as it is a consistent reward. You don't have to worry about not being clear in your verbal rewards or continuously feeding you dog treats. It's a small, easy to use and cheap training tool. However, it isn't for everyone. Although my dog responded well to the clicker, I found it hard to constantly carry around; especially when on walks. I found myself resorting back to verbal cues rather than using my clicker.

If you have the time and dedication, this is a great tool for dog training. I'd recommend watching videos or reading about clicker training prior to using it.

I started using this clicker today and the orange button already fell off! This is terrible quality. The only good thing about it is that it's easier to click with the button broken :(

It's very loud to use indoors. You might feel like you are going to go deaf. I have to put a cloth over it to muffle the volume.

Have used many box-type clickers over the years and this one is the absolute best!! It sits comfortably in the hand and is very easy to use. Right now I am using this on my horse who is a recent rescue and hasn't been treated the best up to now. With the clicker being used appropriately with a reward, he has been able to participate and learn his rehabilitation exercises during ground work at liberty (off leash). Not bad for a tired 16 yo horse who has been over raced. It has also helped to build a bond between us and we now have a mutual trust that no one can take away. Thank you for a wonderful, easy to use product!! StarMark Clicker Dog Training System

Fantastic clicker. I'm shocked that some people feel that it's to loud! The proper way to hold the clicker is out of sight of the dog and closed in your hand. When you do that it's the perfect sound as you need to be able to get the dogs attention and keep them engaged. I have bought 2 of these now and think that it's perfect for the quality/sound/price. The feel of the button is strong and clicks with purpose. I don't see it breaking down anytime soon. This will be the one that I come back to purchase if I ever need another one for sure. Good luck with your training :)

This product clicks a little louder than some other clickers I've used, but it still works okay. The benefit is that it's great for outdoors where it's noisier. : )

Great training tool. Comes with tips and easy-to-use instructions. Use not more than 15 minutes, 3 times a day for best results. As a personal note, the timing of the click is the most important aspect. Click as soon as the dog performs the task you want. Then give them a treat!

Also, you can get these in store for around $5-6. I thought I was saving money by ordering through Amazon but it's the same price.
