How to choose steak knives
• There are two main types of blade used in steak knives, including straight and serrated. While straight blades offer a clean slice, they do need to be sharpened more frequently than serrated blades.
• The blade material also differs between various steak knives on the market, but most are composed of either stainless steel or high-carbon steel. Although high-carbon steel is extremely durable, it does take a bit of extra care in comparison to dishwasher-safe stainless steel.
• Finally, look at the size of the set when you’re comparing your options. You’ll find steak knives in sets of four, six, or even more. Think about how often you serve steak to your family or whether you need more for dinner parties.
