I bought this headset about a month ago now cause my previous headset was going in one of the earmuffs. I used to have the razer Nari, and while I enjoyed the headset and didn’t mind the bulky nature, the software was terrible and always got on my nerves. I decided to step away from razer and try steelseries.
When they arrived, I opened them and plugged them in. I was a little worried cause out of the box, the audio sounded a little hollow and raspy, but I made sure to install the software intended for the headset, tweaked a couple of settings, and it sounds great. It’s noticeably lighter than the Nari, and I love the degree of customization.
You can change the colours and patterns of the lights on the earmuffs, and I also found out you can change the colour of both of the toggles for the mute. So when my headset is muted, the light on the mic fades through some colours, and it turns off when I unmute. However, it’s hard to see this through the foam mic cover.
Overall I’m super happy with the headset and am super happy to have an upgrade over the Nari I bought a year ago

UPDATE: The mic no longer works less than 2 years of purchasing this. Not really happy, but overly based on the price point couldn't expect that this wouldn't happen.So my not my first choice for a Gaming Headset but researching for the Top Gaming Headsets; SteelSeries was listed as one of the best; which lured me to buy thisnHeadQuestion is; was my purchase worth it.Pro's- Its very comfortable; and sits firmly on my head. I don't feel like it's going to slip off.- Ear Cushions are medium firm and are very comfortable on my ear. No pinching, scratching, or piercing feelings.- Retractable and adjustable microphone to suit your needs- User Friendly ControlsCons- Audio is very low even when raised to the highest level.
