HASH(0xa4bf3018) out of 5 stars I particularly love this passage Dec 5 2015

Format: Kindle Edition
This book really recreated what we all go through in life and also represented very well all they emotion and the choice we have in life. I particularly love this passage:" This keeps the balance of life intact. Events are neither good nor bad; they just are. It is how we process these events that determine everything". Awesome read!

HASH(0xa4bf306c) out of 5 stars Highly captivating Dec 1 2015

For a 16 year old author, the descriptive nature of the book captivated made me feel like I was on the sand with the character. It's impressive when an author paints a picture that is easily "seen" by the reader...

The stones...what ARE they? You're in for an emotionally connected journey :)
HASH(0xa4bf34a4) out of 5 stars Somewhere between the fantastic and the occult July 23 2016

A short story narrated in first person by an old man looking back on his own orphaned childhood under the poetic spiritual/occult guidance of his grandfather. The story is somewhere between the fantastic and the occult, with elements of either real or imagined native folklore. The writing is good and brings out lyrical mood of poetic mystery. The content, however, is not my cup of tea, a throwback to "back to the wisdom of the primitive folk" genre, which was great in The Teachings of Don Juan, but is somewhat insipid here. Still, I think it would have an appeal to people who seek folkloristic-romantic escapism
