I really enjoyed this book. Preet used a no-nonsense approach to personal finance that should benefit a lot of people. After reading a few personal finance book, this one stands out because of its perspective of personal finance as a while rather than having a sole focus on investment. I particularly enjoyed the section on insurance which few personal finance books cover.
Knowledge is power, as they say. Well, this book on personal finance will give you power. If you want to learn how to tune out the noise and focus on what actually matters, just read this book. If you want to stop thinking "maybe someday" and start doing, just read this book. I was one of those people who thought that personal finance was mostly about investing, but this book taught me otherwise and made things like insurance interesting, which is quite an achievement.
This is a great financial book, especially for someone who stresses about not knowing where to begin with financial planning. It doesn't go into huge details on how to build out a portfolio but that's not the purpose of this book; it's meant to get you to stop overthinking and stressing.
The beginning chapters about life insurance were particularly helpful for disaster proofing your life, Well worth the buy!
An incredible book which has set me on the right path. I am a bit late to the party as far as financial planning goes, but I feel a great boost in confidence and clarity as to my financial future after reading this book. The section on insurance was particularly helpful. Thanks Preet!
