Excellent book that's helped me a tonne with controlling my reaction to my anger, as it helped me to learn the surprising purpose of it. Also, I really like the idea of following up via cue cards, suggested within the book (although I made them for myself and have been carrying them around wherever I go, I have yet to start actually using them).

This book is insanely short, yet at the same time, I found it to be unbelievable insightful.

Would definitely recommend this book.

I purchased this book along with Rosenberg's Non-Violent Communication. I read this first in my haste to address my rage when dealing with my toddlers. I found it really helpful in understanding my own anger!! Not so helpful in amending my children's behaviour. If only there was a "magic bullet" to train and wrap toddlers with empathy - that will be a longer haul.
