Cherries do not tolerate “wet feet”. Should be planted 14 to 20 feet apart in well-drained soil and up on a small mound or berm. Culture: Sweet cherries require cross-pollination. Uses: It is often cultivated as a flowering tree. Because of the size of the tree, it is often used in parks and less often as a street or garden tree.
