A romance with a rock star, not a rock star romance...

Ash London, front man for uber-successful rock band Ferrum, is happily living the life he always dreamed he could have with Lila Stephens. After working through Lila's traumatic past and Ash's trust issues, they've finally connected and life is good. One phone call changes everything though when Ash finds out the time off he was promised is being cut short. The stress of being on the road and away from Lila gets to Ash, and when a face from his past shows up, it turns his world upside down, dragging up past demons that he's chosen to keep from Lila. Would she look at him differently if she knew the truth? Will her love be enough to save him from himself?

Take Me Home is the second book in a two-part story that follows the rise and fall and rise again of the romance between Ash London and Lila Stephens. It is NOT a standalone and no other band members will be featured in this duet. The Take Me Duet is NOT a typical rock star romance or series. It focuses more on the man behind the rock star instead of the stage persona or the rest of the band. This two-part story focuses on Ash and Lila's growing attraction and love. Their relationship is not a case of instalove, but rather a slow build up with lots of steamy tension.

Please consider leaving a review after you read Take Me Home. Reviews help both potential readers and authors alike. It doesn't have to be a 5 star review and can be as little as a few words as long as it's honest. Thanks for taking a chance on this story!

This is my second book in this series I've read by Stephanie Summers and I have to say I totally enjoyed this great story . This was a awesome story about a rock stars romance and the passion ,the drama that's in his life. Life for Ash and his lovely Lila seems good until he goes back on the road with his band Ferrum and then it happens Ash goes back to his old ways and his old habits well he's touring . Why would he risk everything with Lila ,the love affair between this magical couple will have you on a roller coaster ride of emotions , where one moment your happy for them and the next and then the next they will have us tearing up for them. This story is written in both Ash 's and Lila's point of view and it reveals their up and down's of their touching relationship . These characters relationship seems so real and their chemistry is steamy. Ms Summers has given us a story line that will grab you and hold you from start to finish. I could go on and tell you more about this sweet story ,bu that would spoil it for you. I highly recommend that you read this story ,because you won't be disappointed.

Such a heartbreaking conclusion to Take Me On that kept me wondering what was going to happen with Ash and Lila.

Ash London is finally content with his life and girlfriend Lila Stephens. Then he is forced back on the road to tour with Ferrium, his band, and one night a decision puts everything at risk. As he begins to spiral down a very dark path, will he open up and tell Lila the truth or will he keep it from her.

When the truth is finally revealed will Lila continue to stick by Ash or will the continual lies and secrets push her away? Will her love be enough to save him?

Wow - this book deals with so much emotion, heartbreak and frustration. I was so frustrated at Ash for almost the entire book as he was willing to risk everything he had and lose it all. Yet, in order to get better he had to which must be so hard for anyone knowing someone going through this. Lila was there for him all she could be, but she had to draw the line somewhere and she really put up with a lot.

The love the two had was so intense through the whole book but Lila knew that it wasn't going to work while Ash denied his issues. She had enough to recover from herself, never mind dealing wiht his problems as well.

This was an incredible book but so hard on the heart! I truly loved this series and I can't wait to read more from this author!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.
Well, I asked for more emotion in the last book and boy did I get it! This book gripped me flooding my stomach with a deep ache from the first word. I didn't really shake loose until the very end and by then I was weeping. This time around I laughed big belly laughs, and sobbed quietly into my pillow so my husband would not wake, and worst of all...I stayed up until 2 AM unable to put it down and had to get up at 645 for work in the morning! Big Coffee Day! I am so glad that I kept going with the series. This amazing book will stay close to my heart for a long while.

HASH(0xa4e8ab40) out of 5 stars wow sad but happy and yet shocking and an eyeopener . Jan. 15 2016

this is part of the Magic of books promotions and given in exchange for an honest review
and wow some of the book made me semi cry due to the struggles of the main characters and the things they did to stay afloat .
this can be a healing type book for any one who has been assaulted i say this due to Amazon and their weird ways in posting reviews and for anyone who has an addiction that can hurt families or may lose your own life due to the fact that sadly i have has people i knew who was an addict to a degree and known someone who has been assaulted in the way of what is mentioned in this book . this book if you are not able to cope with what this may entail may not be for you . but i do encourage anyone to read this there is a love story , yes tragic things that do occur but you wont be upset that you read this . i'm glad i did and wish so much that the author may do a spin on the book to maybe include the next generation i say this but not giving out why i say this lol to find out why well you must read the book to find out .
HASH(0xa4e8ac24) out of 5 stars Pretty good ending to a pretty slow series Jan. 26 2016

Tthis is the second part of the story and I must say thing book is better than the first one due to the storyline. THis book is more deeper in the story and the feelings. There are parts where I cried.

Even so I am not the biggest fan of the book, it felt like some of the dialouge in the book is forced and unnatural. Also I have the feeling that the author sometimes wanted it to be funny but I couldnt see the funny thing with it so it looses their.

This book connects the beginning of the first book which I find is good otherwise I would be very disapointed. The story flows well, a bit slow but nothing I can complain about.

This is the perfect ending to the story but I still dont reaally see the point of making two books like this. they could both be shortened and made into one book without loosing anything in it when it comes to story. So that is why I cant give the book full marks. This book is better than the first one, even if you need to read the first one to understand this one.
