Product Description

I was drugged.
Now, I’ve woken up in a dark, luscious room.
A deviant playground.
I’m not alone.
The person that was drugged and taken with me is here, too.
My confident.
Someone that I had come to see as a brother.
My best friend.
Suddenly, there’s a voice coming through the speakers, telling us we’ve both been chosen to die.
The only way out? Do everything we’re told to do.
This person wants to watch us. They want to be entertained. As she says, “I want to see you come.”
It’s simple: either we sleep together, or die.

** Review by Gayle from Bloggers From Down Under **

Taken…..What the ever loving god did I just read?
I have read twisted novels before, but this….This is twisted at the highest level. Dark, depraved, gritty, raw……I am still struggling to even get my head around it.
It’s sheer genius.
Manipulation at it’s finest.
And I loved every minute of it.

We meet both Ivy and Noah. Best friends who wake up in a room with no doors, no windows, no way out.
They have both been drugged and kidnapped and are now stuck in a room together, but not alone.
Their clothes have been stripped.

But who has taken them?
What do they want?
Who is watching their every move?
What will Ivy and Noah have to do to save themselves?
How far will they be psychologically pushed before they break?
Will they survive the depths of the hell and depravity they are now faced with?
Or is this the end for them both?

I am not giving anything away. I just refuse, because this novel needs to be read.
A short read that I totally absorbed myself in to that only took a few hours to read, but has left me absolutely speechless and wanting more. A read that will manipulate your every thought. A read that will leave your mind reeling. A read that will sicken you to your very core, but will leave you wanting, needing.

A definite must read.

As the first installment of the Voyeur series, TAKEN was short but packed one hell of a punch. Ivy and Noah are best friends who have woken up in a strange room only to realize that they've both been drugged and kidnapped. With more questions than answers, they're not left wondering for too long because their captor(s) make it clear that they are toys/pawns/victims of a very sick game. They don't know who took them, why they were chosen, what the captor(s) end game is, or whether or not they will even survive.

This story is chilling, dark and erotic. I liked the play on hidden emotions. It's very clear that Ivy has strong feelings for Noah, which she has forced herself to hid to protect herself, but this intense situation is forcing them to the surface. I also liked how protective Noah was and how it seemed that some of those feelings were reciprocated. I can't wait to see how this story develops.

I'm not a huge fan of cliffhangers but the authors did a great job of sucking me into this story and I for one am anxious to find out the answers to all of my questions and how things will play out for these characters.

Wow what a book! I read it in one sitting. It is so dark. Normally not my prefered genre but this book did me in. I couldn’t put my iPad down. I had to read it. Sadly the story ended to soon and I have to wait for the next part. I’m hooked and speechless.
I give this book 5 stars and I will read more by N Isabelle Blanco and Elena Reyes that’s for sure. Their style was unique for me but it catched me right away.

This book was hard to rate. It was dark and twisted and I'm obsessed with those kinds of books but there were some things in this one that just didn't do it for me.

I love dark reads and I love the utter dark and dangerous twisted ways that an author can get the characters to go through. Like I said before, this story was so hard to rate because in a twisted crazy way I loved how dark it was but some things just bothered me. And it wasn’t as much the dark stuff although one part was a bit over the top crazy (not the sexual kind). But I gotta give the authors credit for all the stuff that made the story unique and thrilling.

I was not crazy about the fact that they were kidnapped as friends and forced to have sex. I mean, how awful could that be? Yeah there were some horrendous things in this book which I don’t want to spoil but I’d rather be forced to have sex with my best friend – which I love and find attractive anyway – than to have sex with an ugly, disgusting person I don’t know. So far, so good.

Ivy has always been attracted to Noah and she always tried to ignore it and keep her distance. But now she’s being forced to be sexually active with her best friend which seems so easy but is so hard at the same time for them.

Their captor is playing games with Ivy and Noah and neither those two nor the reader knows what will happen next. This story is very original and suspenseful and ends in a cliffhanger which will have you wanting more. I definitely need to know how their story continues and I really wanna know what the captor is up to and especially who it is.

The Story:
Drugged. Kidnapped. Being forced to have sex. And those aren’t the only things Ivy has to deal with in one day. She’s being held captive with her best friend in a room with no windows or doors. There’s no way out and they are being watched by a sick person who commands them what they should do to her entertainment.
You might think it’s easy to withstand the commands? How about some torture and threats that will make you stop thinking instantly and have you do whatever was being asked of you? This twisted game becomes more dangerous with each second. How will Ivy and Noah handle the situation their thrown into?

Thoughts:
First of all, I thought that this couldn't be so bad now, could it?!! I mean, no one wants to be kidnapped but they liked each other and wanted more from each other but both seemed oblivious about the other's feelings. So now it was the perfect opportunity for them to explore each other with the excuse that they were forced to do it.
I didn't quite like that it seemed so easy. They made out instantly and all the crying out and moaning without even yet kissing (especially on her part), and almost climaxing while kissing was a little over the top, especially under those circumstances. She was constantly crying out of pleasure and whatnot. I don’t know if I could be so sexed up under those conditions. My main emotion would be fear, not pleasure.

Be prepared that there are some horrific scenes in this book that aren't for the faint of heart! Even I was a bit shocked by the extent of the very sick games for the captor's entertaining.

This was some really effed up read and even now I'm not sure if I should love or hate it. It was something completely different to the stuff I've read so far but some things just bothered me. Like, how old where they? What did they do before they were kidnapped? She was talking about him as a man and he obviously had the body of a grown up. But she behaved like a kid in heat. It was like every touch brought her to climax and a kiss was the climax par excellence. He didn’t even touch her and she was wet already?! How could they have been best friends for years when she was this hot for him? It just took a touch or kiss for her to almost climax. He must have noticed that before for sure.

Anyway, I'm just a bit hung up on the friend's stuff but I still enjoyed this book because it kept me glued to the pages. It was suspenseful from start to finish and I'm sure the next book will be at least as thrilling if not more as this one because it's just a matter of time for all the tension to explode.

*I volunteered to review a Copy of this book from Give Me Books Promotions*

Thank you so very much Give Me Books Promotions!! I am extremely honored and grateful!! :)

This was my first time reading Ms.Blanco and Ms.Reyes' work. I liked this dark tale. It's definitely not for the faint of heart. There is never a dull moment. It kept me guessing until the very end. I had no clue what was going to happen or who was behind everything that led Ivy and Noah to the place that they are. It messed with my mind in every which way.

Ms.Bianco and Ms.Reyes hooked me with this first installment. They also made me scared for the two main characters. That ending left wanting more and I'm so glad I have the next one ready to read next!! I can't wait to read Tied and see what happens next for Ivy and Noah!! :)

Here's a quote from it that stuck with me. - "The dark is safer. The dark is comforting. In the dark, I can hide from reality. I can hide from him."

If you haven't already One-Clicked, What are you waiting for?!?! Check it out Today!! Remember, This is a very dark and shocking tale. If this sounds like it's your cup of tea this is most definitely the story for you!! I hope you like it as much as I did my fellow book lovers!! 4 Stars all around!! :)

Whew! This was a short novella, the first in a serial, that I can't beg N Isabelle Blanco and Elena M Reyes enough to hurry with the next installment!!

Waking up next to your best friend wearing nothing but some slinky lingerie is confusing. Waking up like that in a strange place with no windows or doors is creepy and panic inducing!

Just why are Noah and Ivy there and who is orchestrating this whole thing? The person I thought it was. . . well, I was wrong. lol!

If you like dark romance, then this smoking, chilling book is for you!

Very original concept. This was a quick introduction to the trilogy. At first I was like this all someone playing a sick joke, until some sinister s**t happened.

Would have liked to see more progression and detail on the characters, a bit more build up but perhaps we will see more in the next installment.
