Based on interviews with Canadian skating icons, PJ takes a look back at their career highlights and also shares some of their personal memories and reactions. Each chapter is short, but interesting and the book covers key skaters in all the skating disciplines and some coaches. I really enjoyed the perspective of past and present skaters and the fact that is all Canadian! We have such a rich heritage of skaters in Canada and a talented powerhouse of current skaters, it is wonderful to capture their stories and accomplishments in print.
I'd like to know even more and hope there is a second volume coming to highlight more of Canada's legendary skaters like Elvis Stojko and Isabelle Brasseur and Lloyd Eisler, just to mention a few. I'll definately buy it as well.
