"Wanna know what guys are thinking? Are you sure? Then laugh and swoon and fall in love with Tangled. Right now! (Alice Clayton, USA Today bestselling author of Wallbanger)

“Emma Chase is a bold new voice in romance. Her characters are vibrant with so

much humour and depth that it will keep you enthralled and captivated. You

will be lured in with her use of wit and charm. A brilliant 5 star read!!!!” (Neda the Subclub books)

Tangled more than earns a brilliant, out-of-this-world hysterical, swoon-worthy five

stars. Emma Chase has written a highly recommended story with unforgettable

characters that are absolutely beyond comparison, and I cannot wait to get my

hands on more of her work. It’s one of the best reads of 2013, hands down.” (Tessa BooksWineFood.com)

Tangled is by far one of the best books that I have ever read, and Drew Evans is

hands down my favorite leading man. It was absolutely amazing! 5 Stars Plus!” (Liz Romance Addiction)

Tangled by Emma Chase is a 5 heart read. It’s perfection in a book. RAWR hot,

hilariously funny, and a romance so good you won’t want it to end. Thank Emma

for your next, unforgettable book boyfriend.” (Tamie & Elena Bookish Temptations)

Tangled is panty-dropping, outrageously funny, and overwhelmingly lovely. I finished

it in nearly one sitting because I had to know more of Drew and Kate and their

tit-for-tat, anti-romance story. Tangled is not a must-read; it’s a drop-everythingexcept-

your-spare-batteries and read.” (Angie Smut Book Club)

“I don’t remember when was the last time I enjoyed book as much as Tangled by

Emma Chase. This witty and hilarious insight into man’s head is perfect for all

who like entertaining stories with well-thought-out plotline and sexy hero. I fell

in love with Drew Evans’s playful and cocky attitude and I will never forget him.

Definitely a must read! 5/5 STARS.” (Lucia Reading is My Breathing)

“Emma Chase has created characters in Tangled that are insanely hilarious! Her

character, Drew, had my sides splitting and in stitches over his witty and undeniably

competitive personality! It is hands down the funniest and most creative book

told by the male point-of-view! You will not be able to put this book down!” (Stephanie Romance Addict Boo Blog)

Product Description

In New York Times bestselling author Emma Chase’s sizzling and hilarious debut novel, Drew Evans—gorgeous, arrogant, irreverent, and irresistibly charming—meets his match in new colleague Kate Brooks.

Drew Evans is handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed? He’ll tell you he has the flu. But we all know that’s not really true.

Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and ambitious. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.

Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without.

Tangled by Emma Chase (Audio Edition)
Narrated by Sebastian York
Tangled series #1

OH. WOW….. JUST. WOW!

I have not read anything by Emma Chase before, but if this is a sample of her regular work I will be diving into her backlist head first!!!!!

I LOVED that this book was from the hero's pov. He's funny, arrogant, charming, and when it comes right down to it, caring. Sebastian York did a FANTASTIC job as the narrator. He set the tone well, had Drew's attitude and arrogance down perfect and his voice…. Sigh… it was wonderful to listen to.

Kate was a strong, confident woman, with a great sense of humour. I loved how they bickered. You could feel the tension and passion constantly between them. Kate and Drew had combustible chemistry, and I stayed up WAY too late listening! This book had me laughing out loud often and I am putting it straight onto my favourites shelf!

In my opinion this book is a must read!!

An eye-opening journey into the warped, misguided and ridiculous mind of a self-centered man!
You will laugh out loud, cringe, roll your eyes and shake your head while you follow Drew's journey to deal with feelings he's never had before. I loved Drew and Kate's relationship and how they fought as they were battling the obvious feelings they were developing for each other. Drew reminded me a lot of an Archie Bunker type, but the relationship he has with his niece, Mackenzie, was touching. It takes a child to reduce a macho man to jello!! But for every lesson learned, Drew wouldn't disappoint without his quick wit, chauvinistic view and inappropriate advice! Case and point: "For God's sake, don't let her watch Cinderella. What kind of example is that? A mindless twit who can't even remember where she left her damn shoe, so she has to wait for some douchebag in tights to bring it to her? Give me a frigging break."
You will love this book! A true testament that when you find true love it can turn your life upside down and tame even the wildest of souls!

While it did make me blush at times, I found it to be a great humourous story written from a honest male standpoint.
It does have explicit sex scenes and a little vulgarity in keeping the characters, but that is what makes it a good story.

Loved this book! If I could give it more stars I would.
The male POV was not only different, it was hilarious! Drew told his love story, his way with absolutely no holding back. The male perspective can be hysterically entertaining.
This book is well written, side-splitting and as much as I wanted to detest that little cocky prick Drew, I just couldn't help but love him and his shenanigans!
I highly, highly recommend this book and look forward to the next book 'Twisted' (Her POV) in the series! Thanks Emma Chase!

This is unusual as its told totally from Drew the heroes POV, it's like he's talking to the reader telling his story. There were many funny moments in this that made me laugh. But there were just as many that I thought WTF. Drew Evans golden boy who works for his father, is a total manwhore. Every Saturday night he hits the clubs looking to get laid. When he's not behaving like Lothario, he's a pouting schoolboy. As he is giving his narrative, the reader is given many tips on how men really think. Well that might have been useful except the author is a woman!

But I have to say I do see how many might like his character he does possess a certain charm. Kate the object of his affections is smart and sassy, and is more than a match for the manipulative Drew. I might have given this a higher rating, but the plot was quite thin. It needed fleshing out a bit more. This was just okay for me.

Since word one, I knew I'd love this book.Emma Chase has the character, Drew's, voice so exact it's amazing. It's humorous and very "guy-like", it's exactly what a guy's thoughts would sound like. Right away, I fell in love with his characterization. Another spectacular way is the way he narrates--like he's directly talking to us. ("okay, let's freeze-frame here")

I wish I had a good review to give this book, but I really don't. just know the characterization is spot on, the book is friggin hilarious, and Drew as a narrator... I have never read anything funnier, truer or more real in my life. Wow!

I loved reading a book that was told solely from the male perspective. I'm looking forward to reading more from Emma Chase (and Drew Evans). Tangled was unique, funny, charming and insightful.

I loved the first half of the book. It was good, saucy fun! The second half or so I found kind of cheesy. I can see why a lot of women might like it, but for myself, I prefer a little less of the gooey romance.

As a whole though, it was an entertaining, sexy book. I would recommend it.
