Product Description

**Previously published in 2013 as THREE TO TANGO in The Unwrapped Anthology, THE TANGO LESSON is a stand-alone novella with a Happily Ever After a Threesome Ending**

My name is Isabelle, and I’m a smut fiend.

But only when it comes to books.

In fact, for twenty-three years, the only outwardly kinky thing about me was my hair on a rainy day. Compared to the toe-curling, earth-shattering, mind-blowing romps on my Kindle, my sex life was totally vanilla. Less than vanilla, actually—it was vanonexistent.

And then I took a tango lesson.

They say it takes two to tango, but let me tell you--

a tango for three is a hell of a lot of fun.

A fun short read. I read this when it was part of an anthology that is no longer available. It did feel as if it was updated/rewritten slightly. The writing was, as always, solid and enjoyable. The characterization of the heroine was excellent. The hero was not as well- developed, but as it is a short story this was to be expected.

The ending is perfect, especially for a short story...mild spoiler...I hate it when a short story leads to a total happily ever after for the main characters, as those endings don;t feel true and often feel rushed. In this story, the heroine uses the attentions of an attractive man to help her with her confidence in herself, to help her believe that she should take risks and reach out for what she wants. A wonderful, empowering ending for a great female character.

HASH(0xa0bf860c) out of 5 stars Oh boy! What a deliciously naughty read! July 22 2015

Oh boy! What a deliciously naughty read! I absolutely adore Melanie Harlow. The way she sets a tone in a book is just incredible. She mixes funny with sexy so damn well, you have no choice but to fall in love. If you are looking for a quick pick-me-up to brighten your day, look no further. Harlow has the cure! The sexual tension between these characters are off the charts, smokin' hot! I'm definitely in need of a cold shower or three!

Simply scandalous! The Tango Lesson was a very enticing read! What a way to get swept away to the perfect fantasy. Our main character, Isabelle Peach (how cute of a name is that) was delightful and I related to her so much. Like Isabelle, I try to live vicariously through the sexy female heroines in the romance books I read. We are sexy, sassy, confident women who always gets the hero. If only that was true. Lucky for Isabelle she catches the eye of not one interested party, but two. Marco and Valentina are about to turn this kindergarten teacher's life upside down in such a delicious way!

Melanie Harlow is a huge lover of romance. You can just sense her passion for books while reading her stories. When you can feel how much love went into a story like this, you can't help but to bask in the awesomeness that is this author and enjoy one hell of a ride!

HASH(0xa0cd0d14) out of 5 stars A Sexy, Wicked Novella July 22 2015
By Shelee (Book Reader Chronicles) - Published on Amazon.com

**4.5 Stars**

A truly erotic novella that has Isabelle living out a fantasy she didn't ever think she wanted. And all it took was a birthday, a commercial, and a little bit of wickedness.

"I could not imagine how embarrassing it would be to have a nearly naked man dance right in front of me. Where were you supposed to look, for heavens sake? At his face? At his chest? At his divine rod? His love shaft? His turgid manhood? (Yes, I read too many romance novels.)"

Isabelle is a young Kindergarten teacher that sees more action out of her kindle than in real life. And sometimes those real life experiences pale in comparison to one she can give herself via a good, smutty book and her own hand. But when her birthday rolls around and her best friend invites her to her set where she's a makeup artist, she runs into a sexy dancer named Marco. Isabelle is a bit shy, a bit under-experienced, but underneath that, her naughty side is lurking, and Marco draws it right out of her. Marco, the sexy, Latin dancer has beauty written all over him. And his moves? That body was made for dancing (and sexing, heh). He'll bring out in her just what she needs to open herself up to new experiences.

"As he covered her hand with his own and moved it over his heart, he opened his eyes.
And stared.
Right at me.
Like, not even trying to hide it staring.
Excuse me while I burst into flames staring.
Get over here and ravage me now staring.
I started to pant."

I truly wish this were longer than a novella-length book. I wanted so much more! Isabelle was funny and witty, and her inner wickedness was written very well. You could relate to her thoughts, her wants, her erotic needs as it may be something everyone has felt at one point. And have I mentioned how hot this book was? I haven't? Well, it was truly erotic both between Marcus and Isabelle, as well as during their threesome. As always, Melanie Harlow is a great, witty writer, and I loved this hot novella.

HASH(0xa09e8c00) out of 5 stars short sexy and fun July 23 2015
By Kristine: Glass Paper Ink Bookblog - Published on Amazon.com

I absolutely adored the Frenched series when I picked it up earlier this year, the first book in the series has been floating around on my kindle for quite some time when I asked a reader group I belonged to for something light, funny and sexy the unanimous answer was Frenched. It was the perfect story, lots of hearts, very sexy and funny as hell at times, and the entire series flowed in the same way, with the third and forth books in the series focusing on other characters we meet in book one. When the author announced she would be releasing an updated version of a previously published short I dove on it, The Tango Lesson looked like the perfect sunny after noon holiday read.

Isabelle Peach is young, a little naïve and all kinds of innocent, a kindergarten teacher by day and smutty book lover by night, for reality never quite matches the books she reads so why even try, she's easily tongue tied, shy around new people and happy to spend her down time with her nose stuck in a Laurelin Paige book.

She may have been a dancer at one point in her life, but sadly her days of standing out in a crowd are well and truly behind her, or so she believes, when she runs into Marco, sexy Tango instructor and his partner Valentina things are about to be shaken up.

The Tango Lesson is short and sexy, it also has a quirkiness to it that I've come to expect from Melanie Harlow, her heroine's are silly and yet sexy, and her stories always capture the perfect balance of laugh out funny with sweet and steamy moments, this is my idea of the perfect afternoon read, short and sharp with just the right amount of heat.

The Tango Lesson is the first book from Melanie Harlow that I've read and boy oh boy, I now know I've been missing out on some seriously sexy and steamy stories. It's the perfect book if you need to cheer yourself up and/or simply escape from reality. Melanie's writing , giving us Isabelle in a first person perspective, made this an effortless read with a great sassy central character in Miss Isabelle Peach, Kindergarten teacher and lover of books. She says all the things us readers of smut think about our favorite characters. From the opening line in the prologue you get a distinct taste for Isabelle's voice and we spend the rest of this all to short story in her head as she gives us her story, at least one very telling afternoon.

We learn a little about Isabelle; where she lives, what she does for work, what her favorite hobby is (yes, it's reading...and all the better is that she reads the authors we all love),and that she has had limited experiences with sex. She rightfully identifies with and describes herself a tame and buttoned up girl. But, given the chance Isabelle unleashes her gutsy and spirited second nature and once she does, well she's all in. The Tango Lesson is a lighthearted read that you shouldn't pass up. 4 stars and my recommendation!
