Finally!! Finally I got my read more in depth the real story behind Trinity and where she came from, how she became Rock's BFF and why Wrath was such a mean but still loveable bad-boy enforcer for his club.
From the first time Hope meets Trinity in the earlier books and treats her like just another "girlfriend", a human being with feelings and giving her the respect she deserved (and NOT like just a club whore)...I knew both girls were destined to be besties and despite their very different backgrounds, they shared a real bond of sisterhood that was wonderful to see flourish.
Tattered takes place over the course of the entire series, but from Wrath and Trinity's POVs, giving us an in-depth look at what went on from the moment Rock brought Hope into the MC to the time when both couples became something really solid.
I appreciated that the truth was laid out for all to sugar-coating of what Trinity's role in the club was (her choice not forced)...but that Wrath, despite his gruff exterior and man-whoring ways, loved her anyway and never made her feel like she was less than the most beautiful woman in his world. Two people who lived their lives by the seat of their pants and fought for respect, needed someone to see all the goodness inside them and finally battled their own insecurities and inner-demons to get the love they both deserved...despite the misunderstandings and jealousy that kept them apart for too long.
This was a beautiful book, strong and sexy and at times frustrating (all the back and forth between them for eight years takes a toll on everyone) but above all else it was just a really deeply rewarding love story between two good hearted souls who deserved more than their lives dished out to them. Family was a dirty word to both of them until they found the brotherhood and "family by choice" of the MC...and that was a beautiful thing.
I really loved this book and as much as I adored the maturity of the relationships in the first three books of the series, Wrath and Trinity are my favorite couple. Now I'm hoping to read more about Murphy and Heidi...and that triangle thing that seems to be bubbling under the surface.
If you were a fan of the rest of this series you HAVE to read this one and fall in love with Wrath and embrace the much-loved, but often abused club mama Trinity.

Do you know what, it's about damn time someone wrote a book about a heroine who is as 'slutty' as her male counterpart. Tattered on my Sleeve is basically a second chance romance between Sergeant-at- Arms, Wyatt 'Wrath' Ramsey, and club Mama, Trinity Hirst.

Trinity grew up in the MC life and has literally seen it all, she's experienced things that would break most people and have leave a long lasting psychological effect. However, she is a very strong woman, and when the President of The Lost Kings MC offers her shelter and protection she is so grateful that she ends up making the club her life. She takes pride in looking after the compound and all of the brothers, and although she is never obliged to, she does indulge in recreational sex, and why the hell not!

There is one problem though, and that comes in the form of the blond haired and beautiful, underground fighter, and Sergeant-at- Arms, -Wrath.

In a case of bad timing, they meet the week before Trinity's past catches up with her, and they have beautiful 3 days together before Wrath has to go on a run. Trinity feels strangely safe with this big bad biker and he is drawn to her sweet and fearless charm.

The poop hits the fan and a man from her past spots her which causes her to seek help from Wrath's president at The Lost Kings. On his return, Wrath begs her to not move into the clubhouse, but she has no choice.

Wrath assumes that she is offering herself up to his brothers, so refuses to listen to her explanation and for eight years they torture each other by going with other people and their relationship becomes a destructive one.

When Wrath finally comes to his senses, he realises that he needs to claim this beautiful and kind hearted woman.

Autumn Jones Lake is a new author to me, I have not read the first 3 books in this series which follow the President's journey to find love. This was not an easy read, it was such a detailed story, spanning 8 years and the character development and story progression was phenomenal.

Wyatt was your typical biker, he had his share of club sluts and was absolutely awful to Trinity at times, but I can forgive my fictitious bikers because as much as Wyatt was lashing out in anger, deep down he was a passionate and loyal man who had a delicious alpha possessive vibe going on for his girl.

My heart broke for poor Trinity, she was trying to make the best of her life after a horrific start and I could absolutely forgive her for using sex as both a weapon and a crutch. Since her daddy died when she was a child she hadn't received or given love and truly believed that her only value was for sex, I found it so sad.

I loved how everybody loved and appreciated her and that it was Wrath who finally made her see and believe that just because she had sex with a lot of the men in the brotherhood, that she was a woman with compassion, a talent for art, and many other attributes that made her, her. She was worth everything.

The writing was flawless, and I think if it wasn't as long as it was (sorry, I'm not a fan of mega long books) then I would have rate slightly higher. I am looking forward to future books in this series which will concentrate on new characters but also catch up with the previous ones.

This is a standalone biker romance, told in dual POV, past and present.

HASH(0xa3203bac) out of 5 stars One very emotional ride! Oct. 14 2015

When I got given this ARC I wasn’t aware it was part of a series so started to worry that I wouldn’t know what was going on but I’m happy to say that this can be read as a stand alone novel, and what a novel it was. If you are looking for an easygoing book that won’t take long to get through then hold off from this one until you have the time to devote your whole attention to it. You will go through so many different emotions throughout this book, some bits are a bit heavy definitely pulling on the heartstrings, but you will love every second of it.

When Trinity first met Wrath she finally thought she had found someone who she could trust with the truth about her past. A three-day romance felt like a lifetime where all she could think about was him. Three days is all it would take to fall in love and then ghosts from her past would see her world fall apart. She has a choice to make to save herself but in doing so she will lose what she really wants.

From the moment Wrath met Trinity he knew he wanted her and after spending a few days together he could see that this could be the start of something. After being called away to do a job for the Lost Kings MC he is in for quite a shock when he comes back to the clubhouse to find Trinity set up as the club mama.

From one misunderstanding, and the fact that neither of them fought hard enough in the beginning to make the other listen, their lives went very different ways. With being the club mama it is sort of expected that she will take care of all the needs of the club and its members, from cleaning, cooking to the option of servicing the members. Trinity doesn’t really think she has much of an option but all she wanted was for Wrath to say that she was off limits, but he doesn’t and after she makes the wrong decision she knows she has lost him for good.

Eight years later and they are still going round in circles, when one does something that hurts the other then they will do something back to make them hurt more. You can tell that they are both getting tired of this and if they both weren’t so thick headed then they would realise that their feelings have never really gone away and that’s the real reason they can’t both let go. They just don’t want to.

After Wrath is told the full story about why Trinity needed to seek the protection off the Lost Kings MC he doesn’t know how he could have been so blind. Now he will do whatever it takes to get her to see that he wants this to work between them. That it is not just about sex, although there is plenty of that throughout between them and HOT doesn’t even begin to cover it (you might need to fan yourself down after!), but that what is between them goes much deeper.

Trinity can see a different side to Wrath of late and wonders what might have been. She doesn’t think that she can ever be his ol’lady because of what she has done over the years with the club, and from what happened in her dark past, but he will do whatever it takes to change her mind. The road they start on back to each other is a long one with lots of bumps, twists and turns in the way to throw them off course. But with Wrath at the helm you just know that he can steer them in the right direction.

A great bit of writing where you get so into it that you lose track of time. The type of book where you will be reading into the early hours of the morning and having your eyes begging you to put the book down. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

I received this ARC from Give Me Books for my honest review.

It's taken me days to read this book which isn't like me at all and it's not the books fault, life kept getting in the way, I started carrying my kindle everywhere with me in case I got a few spare minutes that's how much I was into this book.
We already know Wrath and Trinity from the previous books but in this book we get their story from the first moment they met, both POV and it runs through the previous three books so we see things from their perspective, so any moments where we wondered what they were thinking or doing, now we know,
For a large portion of this book I wanted to smack Wrath upside his head, it was obvious from 'Slow Burn' that these two wanted each other but seemed determined to hurt themselves instead, we didn't know who was to blame, what they were feeling or exactly what put them in the position they're in today.
Normally club girls are kind of skanky, shallow and real bitches which is why I wouldn't want to read about one but Trinity is different, she's beautiful, kind and compassionate and carries so much baggage that it's a good job Wrath is so strong.
Wrath himself is not without luggage but can they find a way past the hurt, the upset and all the men and women that have got in their way.
I would imagine this was a difficult tale to tell, timeline aside its never easy when you need the reader to love a couple but yet they're both shown with others, this is done with men quite often and it somehow seems easier to forgive the male character because, well, he's a biker and that's what they do but we also had to forgive Trinity her threesome and that was harder, or I thought it would have been but as it turned out it wasn't I loved Trinity and I would have forgiven her just about anything.
This author and this series is turning out to be one of my favourites and I can't wait for the next book which I believe is a continuation of Rock and Hope's story, then comes the love triangle and I have to say I'm still team Murphy, nothing against Axel but Murphy's the man for me. If Autumn decides it's Axel then I'm sure it will be written in such a way that I'm not too devastated, or at least I hope so, but come on it's got to be Murphy....hasn't it?

HASH(0xa2ccbb88) out of 5 stars LOVE THIS SERIES Aug. 15 2015

This is Wrath and Trinity's story and it is told parallel to Strength From Loyalty (Book 3). In this book Wrath and Trinity are trying to find their way back to each other, and we find out both Wrath's and Trinity's back story. I have to say that I struggled with my feelings about this story. I have no hang-ups about the heroine of a romance needing to be completely chaste, but, my struggle was with Trinity having been a club girl. Imagine having to live with and interact every day, in the same space, with a group of men you have been intimate with. Combine this with the fact that the man you are now in love with is one of the "brothers" in an MC with these guys. Awkward!! Poor Trinity has had a brutal, abusive childhood and was sexualized at an inappropriate age then brutally raped by a group of bikers. I understood her penchant for using sex to secure her place but there was a definite ick factor about this for me. Now, that aside, Wrath and Rock have a "come to Jesus" meeting and everything about Trinity coming to live at the club and her subsequent becoming "club a**" is ironed out. A bunch of misconceptions, unexplained motivations, and definitely poor communication on everyone's part led to years of wasted time for the couple. I enjoyed the work that the couple did to finally come together and I appreciated reading more about each of the brothers in the club, especially Murphy - I really want to read his story because I just know that he and Heidi belong together!. Rock and Hope appear prominently in the story and this was great, I love this couple. There is, for sure, a thinly veiled cliffy to this story, the aftermath of Trinity's near abduction can't possibly be wrapped up so neatly. I don't trust that new stripper from the Vipers!! This was a really good book in the LOKI series. Can't wait for the next book!
