#1 Bestseller in Erotica

His body climbing over mine.

My teeth biting his neck.

His scent on my skin.

My nails carving a path down his back.

His commands whispered in my ear.

All of my senses filled with him.

I knew it was bad. But I craved more.

It had begun innocently enough, bumping into one another in a crowded Boston bar. What followed that night had been anything but innocent.

Because I'd known, even as he'd slid inside of me, that he was my professor. I'd pursued him, a predator stalking its prey.

And he didn't know I was his student.

But he would.

Author's note: This isn't a jail bait student/teacher novel with a butterflies-in-the-belly kind of romance. The characters portrayed in this novel are consenting adults with functioning brains. If curse words, sex, and hard ass college professors with secrets offend you, move right along.

Tempting is Nathan and Adele's story. Tempting does not have a cliffhanger ending, but it's the first book in a duet. The Tempting series will have other novels featuring characters with concurrent story lines.Provocative, the sequel and conclusion to Tempting, is being released July 21, 2016.

I recommend this book for it has sexy parts, kind of expected but nicely done I think. However l was surprised that it has a great story line with a great characters development that is rare in the erotic category! Easton is sexy and I love Adelle! This is the first time I decided to write a review because I really love this book.

I have been waiting for this book to arrive after seeing some tempting teasers on Facebook. I enjoy Teacher & Student romances so I was quite excited for this new book.
For a relatively new author that seemed to turn up overnight, this debut book by Alex Lucian was surprisingly quite good. There is always that tentative feeling when you head into the unknown of reading a debut author.
I have finished it in one day so that is how quickly I devoured this story and was hooked from the get go. The other stories that I have read in this same genre where all done by female writers. To see this approached from a male author was even more intriguing.
In Tempting we meet Adele, who sets out to successfully and in fully conscience thought, seduce her professor Mr Nathan Easton.
Adele is strong natured and knows what she wants from the get go. She does however have issues with her family which is dragging her down. Nathan is haunted by his past. Plus there is the added forbidden fruit factor that he is Adele’s teacher once they get together.
I think Alex Lucian wove their story together quite well. There is the usual angst back and forth along with some very steamy erotic scenes.
For those that want to know, there is a HEA however there apparently will be a 2nd book coming involving Adele & Nathan.
I look forward to reading more of this author’s work. Well done on the debut Alex.

So it's a little past midnight and I'm lying awake thinking of this book. No, not thinking, obsessing. I'm obsessing over what I just read. Honestly, I've said this a couple of times and I'll tell you, I had a full blown love affair with this novel. I'm in LOVE, LUST and EVERYTHING in between.

When it comes to these characters, this authors writing, and this story, I am so blown away. Lord, I want to marry this book. LMAO! Dramatic, I'm sure, but I am over the MOON in love. It's without a doubt going down as one of my absolute favorites. It's up there with Gabriel's Inferno which is one of the BEST Student/Teacher romances I've read. And the crazy thing is: I DIDN'T EXPECT IT TO BE THIS GREAT. AT. ALL!

I read the blurb, I saw the cover, and thought, "Oohhhh, sexy! This should be fun." I thought smut. I didn't think deep, soulful, emotional, angsty. God, I was way off. It was so much more than SMUT. It had SOUL. I'm still trying to catch my breath. In a way I'm shocked. Where did this author come from?! I've scoured Amazon, Goodreads etc, desperate for more, praying to the book Gods that I'd find more novels by this author, but sadly this all Alex Lucian has.

This does NOT read as a debut novel. It's simply too fantastic.

The writing is FLAWLESS. **shivers** It's so perfect. I want to read this author's work FOREVER. I read a lot. I "eat, breathe and sleep" reading. I'm passionate about my books. I'm even more passionate when a book surprises me. And this left me giddy. It's torturing me in the most delightfully delectable way. In a way that my mind is consumed. In the way that my heart is going crazy. I can't stop smiling. My chest feels full as though it wants to explode from all the feelings I have for these characters. I want to take my kindle, dance on my bed like a five year old who just discovered a secret stash of the worlds BEST milky chocolate.

I feel euphoric.

I love this book so much I want to read it again and again.

I love the heroine. Adele, she's feisty and tenacious and bold, but soft and tender where she needs to be. I, too, have daddy issues, so I really related to her pain and also the way she reacts to men. She felt realistic. So completely me. Yeah, that's it, she felt like ME. I related to her on a deep level. When she hurt, I hurt. When she smiled and swooned, I did the same. I wanted her to feel loved and wanted and needed and every time she was rejected I felt that sting as though I was being whipped. I felt the burn in my heart. I truly loved the Heroine as much as I did the Hero.

And Nathan... Nathan stole my air. His pain and guilt was a tangible emotion that carried through the pages palpably. A broken man whose moments of utter despair and anger, rage over his past, made me want to wrap him in my arms and love him entirely. Not only that, the man is a BEAST--In bed. In life. Everywhere. He about melted my panties off with his dirty mouth, his intensity so wholly consuming. He is an alpha male after my own heart.

I loved the progression between these characters from start to finish. From lust to love. It was REAL. It was AUTHENTIC. There were no eye rolling moments. No moments where I thought, "wow! that's far fetched." I can't say it enough, this is not some poorly written student/teacher book. This isn't some forbidden, tawdry romance written just to get you hot and bothered. This is MORE. It's EVERYTHING.

I'm rambling. I know this review is just a bunch of rambling. But I can't form any more thoughts than this because I'm still in the book and I need time to process. I will come back and add more to this review, but I wanted to post something and URGE you to buy AND READ Tempting. It's a must read. Don't buy it and leave it on your Kindle. READ THE BOOK. Read it and really absorb the greatness.

I am totally impressed with this author. I will be reading every book that is released. I can't express my love for the words that were laid on the pages. Marvelous.

BRAVO. That's all I can say. BRAVO. What a great novel. So BRILLIANT. So fantastic. So intense. Completely phenomenal. I've said it a million times and I'll say it once more. I LOVED IT. 5 stars is simply not enough.

As I sit to write this review, I still don't really know how I want to rate this book. I enjoyed the story, but didn't love it.
Tempting is a story of a college student, Adele, who enters into a relationship with her professor, Nathan. For the first half of the book, I really didn't like Adele. She came across as manipulative and as the type of girl who was more interested in the chase of getting the unattainable man than someone looking to establish a relationship.
As we got to know both Adele and Nathan better, I started to like them more. They both have certain emotional issues in common that make them a good fit for each other. Adele gradually revealed that she was much more than the sex kitten she portrayed herself to be initially. Nathan was a bit of a roller coaster ride, but I loved his grand gesture(s) when he drove Adele away the final time.
I guess my complaint about Tempting is that I just didn't really see or feel the transition between two people who were sneaking around to have sex and two people developing a relationship. Most of the interactions between Nathan and Adele were sexual encounters and it would have been nice to have seen additional relationship building.
I also had an issue with the appearance of Nathan's former brother-in-law. It seemed like his character didn't really have a purpose.
I'm still not really sure where I want to put this book in terms of rating. I am curious to see where the series is going.

The two main characters go through a make up-break up four different times. This became extremely tiresome and annoying. Also, even though the characters shared hot sex, their weren't any genuine feelings that they shared but somehow despite that fact, they magically fall in love. It was like the author wanted the book to be an emotional, heartfelt romance with a twinge of sexiness but instead it fell far below.

I read the occasional student/teacher stories because who doesn’t like the sense of a forbidden relationship? I know I do!

We all know that schools have policy when it comes to teacher and student relationships that are beyond...professional. Adele has used her beauty to bend whatever rules that apply to her, but when Professor Easton gets on her case…well let's just say sparks and words go flying!

Professor Easton is all about responsibility and with his past he’s not looking to go forward. The past holds very dear to him so that he isn’t looking for love or even a future beyond what he’s doing now. Adele on the other hand has plans for him and that involves a lot of loving on her part. She’s determined to break him out of his past and into a brighter future...with her.

Their love is forbidden, but policies won’t keep them apart…especially if it’s kept a secret.
But soon it will come down to this…
Is it worth it?

I absolutely love the way this story was played out. You could tell that Professor Easton was determined to fight the attraction toward Adele, but with her persistence his fight seemed to drain him. Not only did you feel the connection toward these characters, but the foreplay...was intense. I’m sure my lip still has teeth marks on it from biting so much. I was so caught up with their story that I couldn’t believe how the time flew by.

A wonderful surprise was to find that Professor Easton isn’t all sugar and nice. Oh no. He has a bit of a dark side to him and, well, let's just say that he does NOT disappoint. (wink wink)

This book totally captivated me and it earned 5 stars!

Before I start my review I must say I didn't expect this to be as good as it was. As a blogger I've read quite a few teacher student reads. This is certainly one of my favourite to date.

Nathan is a professor. He's feeling raw pain from his past. One night to escape from the pain he finds himself in a club where he meets Adele. Let's just say their roller coaster of a story starts from here.

I love how Nathan comes across as such a cool and calm guy until Adele is in his head. He can't seem to forget her.

Adele has her own problems to deal with. I love her friend Leo and is so happy he's getting his own book.

Although this is about a taboo subject I loved it. The storyline was unpredictable and gripping. I found myself reading this in one sitting. The sex scenes are hot.

Although this is a standalone I'm super happy to see we are going to get more of Nathan and Adeles story.

Well done to the author on a superb debut novel.
