Now in blue! This combination planner-and-journal helps readers strategize their lives and increase their performance via writing prompts, self-assessments, and calendars--all backed by science and the author's 20 years coaching the highest performers in business, athletics, entertainment, and beyond.
Now in blue! The High Performance Planner is a 2-in-1 day planner and journal based on the world's largest study of how high performers increase productivity, set goals, prioritize projects, outperform their peers, and create the positive mindset and habits needed to win the day. Through morning mindset journal prompts, daily goal boxes, evening scorecards, weekly habit assessments, monthly project planning, and proprietary whole life balance sheets, the Planner helps you think more strategically, prioritize like a pro, achieve your goals faster, and become more focused, happy, and productive.
Best of all, the Planner helps you install the personal and professional habits proven to lead to long-term success. That's what it's all about. Best-selling author Brendon Burchard says, "High performance means succeeding over the long term without compromising your health or positive relationships." This Planner helps you do that by accounting for your entire life's progress, not just your daily to-dos.
The High Performance Planner was created and field tested by Brendon Burchard, the world's leading high performance coach and a #1 New York Times best-selling author, whose books include The Motivation Manifesto, The Charge, and Life's Golden Ticket. His pioneering research with the High Performance Institute led to Amazon's Top 3 Business & Leadership Book of 2017, High Performance Habits: How Extraordinary People Become That Way.
From the manufacturer
Based on an extensive study of high performers and how they increase productivity, set goals, prioritize, and create the positive mindset and habits needed to Win The Day, Brendon Burchard has created this Planner to help you reach your highest performance!
Use this Planner every day (yes, every single day) and you will start focusing on what matters. You will get more done and feel better doing it.
Available in six different colors, this Planner is unlike other planners. You won't find a bunch of random success quotes in these pages. Instead, you have a workhorse of a Planner where every single inch is used to help you improve your mindset, plan your next move, track what matters, and truly learn about yourself.
This is a thinking person's Planner - it's built for people who want to do the real work required to succeed every day, week, and month.
There are four types of pages in this Planner: Daily, Weekly, Monthly Review, and Monthly Preparation
Daily Pages featuring Morning Mindset and Evening Scorecard
Start your day with clear intention by filling out the 10 Morning Mindset prompts. These 10 questions will help you start the day positive, confident and focused on what matters the most. End the day with 6 questions and 6 scorecards that help you review and develop the habits that lead to long-term success.
Weekly Pages, featuring the Whole Life Assessment and High Performance Habits Assessment
Each week, you’ll review your lessons learned and also score yourself in 10 major life areas: health, mission, family, learning, finances, friends, spirit, mental/emotional energy, love/heart, and experiences. You’ll also complete the High Performance Habits assessment, a proven professional tool that helps you improve upon the habits that correlate with long-term success.
Monthly Review Pages
Extra pages and journaling exercises help you review what you learned the last 30 days about yourself, your relationships, and your mission. A long-term goal section helps you re-align your tasks toward 1- and 3-year goals.
Monthly Strategy Pages
Strategic writing prompts help you anticipate the major projects, events and deadlines for the month ahead. You’ll also fill out the Whole Life Assessment to keep you track, score and balance the major areas of your life every single month.

There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
The questions get a bit repetitive. And the reviews can take an hour or more.
Overall I'd buy it again.

I only wish the timings went up to 11pm or midnight. They only go up to 7.30pm
In reading the author's intro, I saw no notes on how the "Month Ahead at a glance' is supposed to integrate with the weekly plan. And I just assumed that this planner would have a place to plan the whole week & then figure out which days would be best to tackle which tasks. Nope- no weekly planning view. My other planners that were designed to maximize my life while keeping me sane and balanced provided a weekly high level view so I could see where my pockets of time allowed for me to work on the priority projects.
There are no actual prompts to review your prior week & move forward undone tasks. There is no 'project' area where I can break out my projects by smaller tasks and track that project....and I intuitively know I need to do this, and am using the notes section in the back for some of this....and the notes section in the bottom of the daily pages for some of this as well.
Unfortunately the "weekly learning review" seems to devote a whole page to the author's self assessment & test....
Pros: It has good prompts for "morning mindset" & "evening journal" that are helpful but I feel like these sections are a bit long and not all the questions are really needed. It has 30 minute increments all day- which is also helpful for planning and time monitoring and figuring out where my time crunches will hit when I have competing priorities. It has un-dated pages so I can structure my week how it best fits me. (I like to review on Saturday mornings & figure out what I need to move forward to the following week at that time so I can relax on Sunday knowing I have a plan for the next week.
Cons: (1) no weekly calendar view that allows for high-level plan or transferring and updating projects/plans from Monthly calendar (2) no good way of moving tasks forward that have gotten 'missed' on a daily or weekly basis (the weekly review is all subjective & assessment based) (3) Monthly pages are in the middle and not easily found- I had to add flags to mine to make them easy to refer to
I am undecided if I will continue to use this for more than the 60 days it covers...there is probably enough space to customize the sections if I want to...but the jury is still out on whether it is really superior to other systems out there. It's clearly not designed as an 'organizational tool' like a Franklin Covey or a Levenger Circut...it seems more like it's designed to help keep you focused on a few key goals and making time to connect with the important people in your life.
