This is my 2nd purchase of this unit. It’s great for meat but I also use it when I make things like yogurt and cheese. I love the magnet on the back to keep it in place and out of the way. The presets are handy but I usually adjust manually.The 1st time I bought this the probe died and the company sent me a new unit without issue. I saved the extra unit because it still worked. Recently it started reading HHH so I ordered a new one as I’ve had mine for years. Sure enough after testing with the old probe vs the new one I’ve confirmed that it’s the probe again. My request is that the company starts offering JUST the probe for sale at less cost than the whole unit. I would even buy two more probes and give my kids the extra units with them. I hate throwing stuff away when it still works.
