HASH(0xa4646b94) out of 5 stars Wonderful Gift for the John Ritter, Three's Company Fan Jan. 9 2008
By Tina M. - Published on Amazon.com

I love Three's Company, it is one of my favorite shows of all time (if not THE favorite) and I decided to buy this Jack's Favorites dvd and also Janet's Favorites (which is a seperate dvd). This Jack's Favorites dvd is a must-have for any fan of John and the show. It includes one of the funniest episodes ever - "Up In The Air" where Jack is invited to a party by Janet but fears flying, so he takes tranquilizers and ends up taking a cocktail too which leads to some hilarious crazy yet brilliant dancing at the party. John was one of the best physical comedy actors and this one episode alone proves it. The DVD contains five different full-length episodes and a bonus tribute by director Dave Powers and Nancy Morgan Ritter. A great dvd to cherish. As John Ritter was an actor to cherish who never ceases to bring laughter. Thanks for the ongoing laughs "Jack". I think this DVD is a nice tribute to him.

HASH(0xa4646de0) out of 5 stars Short and sweet Sept. 22 2008

Some things to consider before buying this DVD:

* No episodes with Chrissy (Suzanne Somers) or the Ropers
* The last episode ("Cupid Works Overtime") ends with "to be continued" (and isn't on this DVD)
* "Up in the Air" is probably the funniest episode of the show I've ever seen and includes Jack's long, famous, dancing-under-the-influence scene

Overall, thanks to "Up in the Air", the low price, and the bonus tribute to John Ritter (which includes footage of his Emmy win--at which Ted Danson was a fellow nominee: "And thank you to Ted Danson's daughter ..."), I recommend this for fans of Ritter/Jack who aren't inclined to buy entire seasons of Three's Company.

HASH(0xa4646da4) out of 5 stars Joyce DeWitt's personal favorites June 23 2007

Joyce DeWitt has delighted audiences for eight seasons on ABC's Three's Company as cute and sexy florist Janet Wood. Here are 6 of DeWitt's personal favorite episodes from the 1977-84 run of the series. In CASE OF THE MISSING BLONDE from season 5,Janet and Jack Tripper(the late John Ritter) are both nervously upset when they discover their clumsy roommate Cindy Snow(latecomer Jenilee Harrison) is missing, but unbeknownst to Jack and Janet,Cindy was out with her father, who surprisingly showed up at the trio's apartment. In ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST from season 6,guest star Jeffrey Tambor, late of the TC spinoff The Ropers,is Dr. Tom Miller,a colleague of Terri Alden's(latecomer Priscilla Barnes),who's on a dinner date with Terri, mistaken for a mentally disabled individual. In CHRISSY'S HOSPITALITY from season 4,Chrissy Snow(Suzanne Somers) is taken to the hospital after bumping her head while installing a shower curtain over the trio's bathtub. The other three episodes are excellent. I won't need to own this item since I already own all 8 TC season sets. I dedicate this item to the memory of Ritter(9/17/48-9/11/03).

In the episode "Up in the Air", John Ritter does one of the funniest dance routines I have ever seen. He is such an awesome comic actor, as is Don knotts and really everyone else in this show. I hope John is in the highest of God gold light in his position in eternity for these shows.
