Decided to drive out to the airport and test the sizer bins in advance of my family vacation for myself. The carry on fits in both types of Air Canada sizer bins. It’s a snug fit, but does fit without having to use any force. I also decided to check it in a U.S. carrier’s bin - and tried out United. It’s does fit, but as you can see the width of the luggage takes it up to the very top of the box. All in all, I’m very happy. This is absolutely the max size you could go with for Air Canada.

This suitcase is pricy but I travel 100-200K per year and find this suitcase glides effortlessly through airports. This is the best case I have ever owned. I have many suitcases in a closet with wheels finished that I have dragged all over the world. This case is a game changer. For smaller planes such as regency jets the overhead is tight for the 21inch. Possibly look at the same case in 20 or 19 inch.

I bought this max 23 case for myself in December and then purchased a second one for my kid who has been in Edinburgh Scotland at Uni for the past 5 years and finishing up her masters of law. She travels during her breaks and her last trip was a few days ago to Prague with friends. She used the case for the first time and I asked her if it was as good as I hoped. Her answer - I bought a cookie at the airport then put it in the front pocket of my case and forgot about it. Had to check my bag as the flight didn’t include carryon , got to my hotel room opened my case to unpack and found my cookie in the liquids front pocket totally unbroken and all my makeup was in perfect condition and I had so much room in the case that I packed so much extra stuff including boots and still had room left over. As I work for an airline, this was my go to for luggage. The quality of their products is second to none. Very sturdy, takes the smaller bag mounted on top with ease and does not fall over due to weight. Wheels are awesome! They line up straight with the help of the little magnets. Storage is plentiful and well thought out.
The only thing I could really complain about is that one the very first outing with me new set, the handle for one of the main compartment zippers fell off. It wasn't due to abuse or worn out over time, it was the actual first use! I'll be calling TravelPro in the next few days and I'm sure it will be taken care of, but... The quality is usually at such a high level, that this was a little disappointing.

Upgraded from my older TravelPro carryon to this one for the extra capacity. This fit in overhead compartments on the smaller regional planes too. (Takes a bit to angle the bag in, but definitely fit.) I wanted to pack a full size tripod without having to check a bag and this did the trick in addition to 5 days of clothes (mix of work and casual). Moves through the airport smoothly. Nice versatility with zip-in suited and TSA approved bag for liquids that fits in front pocket.

Luckily we took it to the airport the day before to make sure that it did not exceed the measurements, and it did!
This did not meet the requirements as a "carry on" for Air Canada.
It seems durable as the material is sturdy, zippers are strong, overall well made, keeping it for future use.

I was concerned when I bought this bag that it would not be durable nor fit properly in the overhead, based on a number of the reviews, however, I am more than pleasantly surprised. I previously owned a hard case carry-on that opened with a left and right side, so the transition to this style bag concerned my as well for packing. This bag checks ALL the boxes, plus it has some nice added features. I'll preface this review with the fact that I've only traveled with it twice so far, with one trip for 3 overnights and the other for 8 overnights. Yes, the while the 8 overnights was a much tighter pack (including a Pickleball paddle and two balls), it all fit fine!

Firstly, the overall price is very good considering what you get. My other bag was ~$100 less but not as feature-full.

Here are my main likes:
+ It rolls with EASE...the roller-wheels are fantastic...it's the first thing you'll notice
+ The handle is VERY comfortable. I push my bag on the four wheels sideways often, and the handle is sturdy and contoured to your hand so it fits very well. BIG plus here
+ When empty, it's MUCH lighter than I thought it would be. As a non-hard case bag, I thought it would be a lot heavier. I was pleasantly surprised...without sacrificing its "toughness"!
+ A very roomy interior to the bag. I routinely pack: two pairs of shoes/sneakers, two dress pants, three dress shirts (both fit into the separate/zip-out section), workout clothes, three pairs of undershirts/shorts, 4 pairs of socks (packed in the shoes), heavier top, nightware, casual pants/jeans, shorts.
+ I like the separate toiletries bag. I used a personal bag previously but this is much more streamlined
+ My backpack fits over the handle easily and, while heavy, it doesn't topple over the carry-on while rolling
+ It fits in both the overheads on an Airbus 320 and Boeing 733 - on side (larger overheads) and on it's back (smaller overheads). There are NO issues with the wheels in first, which is the way it should be stored. This was one of my primary concerns and it is not a problem.
+ External pockets are nice but not super necessary as most of my things fit inside the bag or in my backpack. They are convenient for quick access, however, someone thin/not deep, so you're not going to get a lot packed in there. Plus, if the bag is full inside, it will limited the space available a bit.
+ Zippers are beefy! I did need to use the expansion zipper when I packed for 8 overnights and it was very helpful. I was/am concerned about zippers exploding, as I did see some comments on this, however, I think this is more of an issue with overpacking than the performance of the zippers. I will keep on eye on this as I've only traveled twice (but did pack a lot!)

Areas that aren't appealing to me much:
- External charge port...I haven't used it at all and I don't know that I would. I usually charge directly into a wall socket when needed. I suppose if I had a charge in there I would use it, but I don't view it as a "I have to have this feature" sort of thing.

That's it - overall, a very good decision at this point and I hope to keep enjoying it going forward. I hope it will last! Enjoy.

This luggage is very attractive, sturdy, well designed, lightweight, easy to roll. I just used this suitcase for a two week trip. I liked the type and number of compartments. The zippers are good. The wheels and handle are excellent. The material seems like it will be durable. I picked it over several other lower priced bags and glad I did. I was asked to check it by a ticket counter agent but I saw other passengers with the same size or larger bags carry theirs on and put them in the overhead bins. This one would fit any larger plane.
