When Lily meets handsome and powerful Brazillionaire Gustavo de Lima, she can hardly resist him. There’s just one problem. He’s married. Things get steamy in this highly anticipated sequel to Gilded Lily.

Tiger Lily (Book 3) - Weary from battling a hostile takeover attempt of her family’s company, Lily seeks a distraction in Todd, an erstwhile bartender with a large trust fund and magical tongue. When Alejandro unexpectedly rebuffs Lily one night, she is deeply dismayed. But, after seeing Alejandro’s picture with a gorgeous Latina model in the gossip pages, Lily thinks it wasn’t just a misunderstanding. When the sisters and brothers reunite in Aspen for a ski weekend, will Lily’s heart remain frozen or will the fire between her and Alejandro rekindle and melt away the ice?

HASH(0x9bdccd50) out of 5 stars The Lily Trilogy Jan. 26 2015
By Serenity - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
I loved reading about Lily. She is one of those characters you just feel for and take her side no matter what. So when a nice girl like her gets cheated on, you want to go and chase the guy for being so foolish. Plus right before the wedding? Seriously surprised Lily didn't just make him "disappear". Not to mention, doing it with her sister is a big no no.

Anywho, she goes on her honeymoon alone and ends up finding this passion she never knew existed. Her friend tells her to go ahead and be her new self. So there she is in Rio, about to just let herself be free and enjoy this new chapter in life.

Then Gustavo appears in her life. And this can go really well or really bad. The attraction is there, but he is married and Lily doesn't play that game. Though she is starting a new chapter in her life, maybe she will just give in.

Shift change! We now leave the lovely Rio and read about Lily going home to take care of her dad. Big change for Lily, but she is strong and can do anything. Even if it means taking over the company and staying strong for everyone. Which is not easy for her right now, and she is still getting used to this new version of herself.

Then came the time for Lily and her sister to talk. I know what she did was really wrong in the first book, but hear her out before you decide if you still don't like her. She and Lily talked, though I don't dislike her as much, she still isn't going to be my favorite anytime soon.

So after some time, they family discuss what will happen with the company. Apparently the parents had more strength and views that was told. Then you have lots of HOT LOVE.

Todd, Alejandro, and Gustavo. Lily is having no trouble finding love now, but which one will it be? Lily isn't one of those girls to just screw every single guy she thinks is hot. She does eventually want to end up happy with one, but who shall it be? Can it be Gustavo? Did she really just run into him? Or did he plan this run in? He seems to really love and care for her and can't seem to live life without her. this book, Gustavo is more like a crazy stalker. She is getting to know Alejandro and is enjoying his company, but no matter what, Lily always notices that Gustavo is there. Uh, I'm like Alejandro much more than Gustavo. Is his love real and will it be enough to win Lily for good? Or can we just say stalker and have him taken care of?

And I'm back with book 3! Lily has been through a lot to say the least, and it seems that life is not going to clam down any time soon. So the company has some issues, then Lily is leaning on Todd. So she better seriously pick someone soon. I want to see her with just one guy, not that I don't mind how attractive these guys are. Plus the scenes are nicely done and these books are just amazing. However, it's a few books in and I'd like to see her start to try for one guy and build off that.

So anywho. I'm glad Gustavo got the boot. She stayed strong and denied him and this should hopefully the message through his brain. Then there is a hiccup with Alejandro. They have this thing one night and the next day he is with this model. Uh, like what just happened here. Lily of course is not thrilled about any of this and pretty much puts him aside for now, until they meet up again. Where you will figure out if they fix this or just move on for good.

I am enjoying these books and can't wait to see what else Vivian writes up

Gilded Lily - Alright, so if you don't like infidelity, you won't like this series. But if you can handle the are in for one HOT ride! Lily is sort-of...sexually awakened by her masseur when she begins her lonesome honeymoon. And Gustavo keeps popping up all over the place. Lily's struggle with right and wrong is very real. And although it seems (at first) like this book is pretty much just about sex, there are definitely other themes and sub-plots going on at the same time. My only complaint is that I wish the story would have dug deeper into the sub-plots. It's a great story line, but I want more, more, MORE! :) And there's definitely a bit of a cliffhanger at the end! (But lucky for you, the next book is already out!)

Calla Lilty - And the story keeps plugging along! Lily is crazy busy with running the family business since her father is out of the office, and she's really doing a great job. But she's putting in a TON of hours, and doesn't go home to do anything but sleep, really. That is, until freaking Gustavo tries to push himself back into Lily's life. I'm not gonna lie...I HATED Gustavo in this book! (In a good way!) I tried really hard to like him, because all the characters were trying to like him, but mostly I just wanted to strangle him, and drop him off the side of a yacht into the ocean. :) I also REALLY thought things were going a particular way with Lily and another man in this book (and it's probably not even the man YOU would be thinking about while reading it), but then I got a BIG surprise in the form of a quiet Cuban man. Definitely not what I was expecting, but it was a pleasant surprise! I also was SHOCKED by some of the things going on in Lily's own family. I still am amazed that Lily even discovered it! Can't wait to read the next one!

Tiger Lily - Lily has some EXTREMELY difficult decisions to make, both in her personal life, and in the board room. And no one is making it any easier for her. There was a particular moment in the book where I was just like, "Hell yes, Lily!" She was so strong, and brave in that moment...she made me proud. I was a little mad at her for thinking so poorly of herself after Alejandro's rebuff, but eventually she starts acting like herself again.

And Alejandro? Can I PLEASE have one of him?! He's sweet, and attentive, and a little shy. MMM! He's just delicious. :)

I WANT MORE! Praise the Lord we are going to get to see more about Dahlia in her own trilogy!

Gilded Lily

Lily Baron is crushed when she walks in on her fiancé Jack having sex with her sister the night before their wedding. Heartbroken, and needing to get away from the elite social circles she belongs to she decides to go on her Rio honeymoon alone to pull herself together.

When I started reading about Lily I initially didn't connect with her character at all. She struck me as a socialite who was just worried about what everyone thought, and was devoid of any real personality. I am happy to say my opinion of her changed as she spent time in Rio. She began to show some strength and independence which made her character much more attractive.

Winslow is writing a character that is on a path to self-discovery. In Gilded Lily it is a discovery of her sensual side. When she begins a short affair with a married man named Gustavo, she finds a side to herself she didn't know existed. It seems like Lily is on her way to making bigger discoveries. As a reader I am anxious to see her take charge of her life and challenge what is expected of her. This is a short read, and to me it is a setup for bigger things. I enjoyed the story so far, but I am more excited to see where Winslow takes it next.
Calla Lily

Lily has taken over at the helm of the family business since her father's stroke. The business is struggling a little, and there is the possibility of a takeover on the horizon. What takes her off guard is the man who wants to buy her out.

I was impressed with the way that Lily threw herself into the family business to help her father; it showed the strength of her character. On the romantic front she is in shambles. Gustavo has reentered her life and turned it upside down. I find myself rooting for Lily in hopes that she finds what she is looking for in life.

There were some twists and turns in this book thanks to Winslow. She was easily able to display the turmoil that Lily was going through. Lily steps up to run the business, but I think she is unsure if that is what she wants to do in life. Romantically her relationship with Gustavo is on equally shakable ground. There is no doubt they have feelings toward each other, but I have to question whether he is good for her. Once again readers are left at the edge of the cliff wondering what is in store for Lily.

Tiger Lily

Lily has weathered the storm of a hostile company takeover, but she has come out of it a little battered. She takes time out with her sister and best friend to vacation, gather herself and figure out what comes next. Her relaxing time away changes when she comes face to face with the handsome man who turned her down a short time ago.

Lily is finally starting to take control of her life and getting rid of all the things that are hindering her. Every time we encounter Lily she isn't changing who she is at the core, but she is moving forward and learning who she is and what she needs to be happy. I love the fact that this character is resilient.

I was so excited to see how things turned out for Lily, but there were times I was really afraid she would compromise who she was deep down inside. I must admit Winslow really kept me guessing until the end! I was surprised at how much I ended up connecting to Lily's character throughout the series. There was drama, heat, and excitement in this series, but what really drew me was Lily's transformation. In the end that is what kept me coming back for more. I loved how things turned out for Lily, and now I must say my attention has turned to Dahlia. Lily has found what she was looking for, but will her twin find happiness? I look forward to seeing more from Winslow very soon!

The Lily Trilogy is three books in the Gilded Flower series by Vivian Winslow. They can be read as stand-alones from the rest of the series.

The Lily Trilogy tells the story of Lily Baron, a blonde, beautiful New York socialite with endless amounts of money. She has, in her opinion, the perfect life. Until one fateful day when her sheltered little bubble just bursts and leaves her a broken woman.

Hurt and betrayed, Lily decides she's going to move on with her life by taking a trip. A trip that will change her life... but for better or for worse? You'll have to read the trilogy to discover the answer.

So I'd like to start off with some of the likes and dislikes I had with this trilogy. Here we go...

Likes: Short, easy read. Lily's take charge attitude after what happens(not letting it bring her down too much), the descriptions of the locations she travels to.

Dislikes: Lily's parents, Lily's fiance, Gustavo, the over-abundance(in my personal opinion) of adult content(which I have no problem with as long as that's not the entire plot), certain wording during the more adult scenes, some of the grammar that needed fixed.

Okay, so the trilogy is, as I stated above, a short, easy read. You can probably get through all three books in a day or less, depending on what you have going on. I guess you could call these more novellas than actual novels, but that's a bit irrelevant, I suppose.

Lily, for the most part, isn't a bad character. She is a woman scorned, but she doesn't sit around moping about it too much. She decides she's going to travel and attempt to move on, and I liked that about her. Although after she lands in Rio, which is where she heads on her vacation, she does get a little bit hermit-like, holing up in the hotel instead of exploring. That does change eventually, though. I also thought she took things a bit too far with her constant hooking up with men. I assume it was to feel something after being hurt and betrayed, but I thought she got a bit carried away.

Lily's parents, mostly her mother, are kind of unlikeable. Her mother just seems like a cold-hearted witch who doesn't care about her daughter's feelings. Lily's father just seems a bit indifferent to it all. Neither is really redeemable in any way.

Lily's fiance is the whole reason the story takes off in the direction it does. He's basically a jerk(I'm being nice), and I don't think anyone would like him.

Gustavo, a character Lily meets in Rio, is probably one of the most annoying, obnoxious characters I've ever read in a book. He really grated on my nerves, especially with his attitude towards basically everything. He's rich, good-looking, and basically expects everyone to fawn over him like he's some sort of god. Blech.

I don't want to spoil anything or give too much away, so I'll try and keep the rest of this short. Plot-wise, I felt the book started off strong enough, but started to fizzle once Lily reached Rio. It seemed like the main plot of the story got pushed aside, and the adult content took over. I felt like every other chapter had sex in it, and it lasted forever. Now, I have no issues with sex in novels, or any kind of adult content. However, I felt it was a bit too much, and I would've liked a little more main plot(Lily's life and things of that nature) and less of the sexy times.

Another thing that bothered me was the wording used for the sex scenes. There are certain words/phrases that I just cannot deal with when reading erotic/romance novels. Unfortunately for me, the Lily trilogy had a bit too many of them, and it sort of took away my enjoyment of the books.

Overall, the trilogy wasn't bad, but I think, personally, it could have been a smidge better. I did like it, for the most part, but I was expecting a little more out of it and was kind of disappointed. I'd rate the Lily trilogy a total of 3 out of 5 stars.
HASH(0x9bd65f00) out of 5 stars A MUST READ !! Vivian knows how to work a series !! Dec 18 2014

Great steamy and exciting series !! Vivian packs a punch in this drama filled story !!

Part 1- WOW way to go Lily !!
After being betrayed by her fiance and sister Lily is heading off to her honeymoon ALONE. But not before she gets a little lecture from her mother about how cheating should be overlooked and maybe she should do it discretely also...are these people crazy !! Jack cheats on her the night before her wedding with her TWIN SISTER and she should forgive and forget ?? Ya I would be running to Rio as well !!
Once in Rio Lily has to snap out of her daze. She starts going to the spa and ends up having a massage by a man named Marcello , to say he has magic hands is an understatement !! I was quite shocked but then again we all need a little spice in our lives and Lily needs this burst of confidence and fun more than she knows. If Marcello wasn't fabulous enough Lily keeps running into Gustavo , this HOT Brazillian that obviously has money and is very well known. He wants something from Lily but she soon finds out he is married. Does this hinder her decision to make the most of this trip ?? Will Gustavo be what she needs to forget about her troubles back home ??
Not likely....
Gustavo may just be the cause of more issues. But damn if he is not super HOT and sexy !! Gustavo does a great job at charming Lily but everyone has their breaking point. Lily decides to go back to New York early and at the same time she finds out her father has fallen ill and she is needed home anyways. Her father's health is in question , the family business needs running and Lily is in the midst of her own chaos. Will Lily be able to save everyone and herself before Gustavo strikes again ??

Part 2-
Lily is home in New York while her father is recovering from his stroke. She is expected to take over as CEO and is thrown into the mix. Someone wants to buy out the business which actually is not doing as well as she had thought. Lily also has the chance to talk to her sister and find out what happened on that horrible night and why she would sleep with Jack. The answer may be enlightening to Lily and the readers !! I actually love Lily's twin Dahlia !! She is full of energy and goes with the flow !! Then Lily's friend Vi takes her out to a bar and ditches her there with none other than Todd !! Do you recall Todd ?? Well he now gets his chance to finish what he started and HOLY CRAP IS IT HOT !! Way to go Lily !! I am thrilled with her sexual confidence and desire to make herself happy !!
Lily is thrown a few slight curve balls like having Jack show up drunk on Thanksgiving and a steamy run in with Gustavo at her home , and when I say steamy I mean DAMN IT IS HOT !! I did a double take and enjoyed re-reading that part over and over again !! By now I am thinking geez Lily spreads her legs for anyone , but again good for her , sometimes you just need to go through that crazed on sex phase and since Jack was her one and only and apparently sucked in bed who is she to deny herself right ??!! Lily and Gustavo have a few days of pure bliss and then comes THE MEETING...
Lily comes face to face with the person wanting to buy the company out from under her family , you will be shocked. Was this all a set up ?? What does this mean for them ?? What will Lily do ?? What does her mother have to do with it all ??
When it all becomes too much for Lily she gets dragged on another vacation this time with Vi and Dahlia to Miami !! More HOT guys and fun to be had. Lily is not really feeling it this time and of course someone shows up to ruin it all. Once Lily gets home she again tries to get answers from her parents about Gustavo and the company. Left with a huge decision to make the book ends and we eagerly wait for Tiger Lily !! Will she sell ?? Will Gustavo earn her forgiveness ?? Will we see Todd or Alejandro again ?? Where the hell is Marcelo when I need a stress reducing massage !!!!!!!!!!!!

Part 3- OH MY WOW
So right back at it , part 3 , the company has been sold and in the midst of that process Lily is steering clear of Gustavo and finding distraction with Todd !! Seriously Gustavo who ?? Todd is phenomenal !! I am no longer in need of a Marcelo massage I just need a turn with Todd !! As if this sexual awakening isn't hot enough with this mix of men now we have this chemistry with Alejandro !! I am so happy that he is back , along with his brother Dahlia's new love interest, Rodrigo !! There is some enjoyable down time at a ski lodge in Aspen which makes for some serious choices and yumminess for Lily. Lily is so different from most female leads and although it took some time it seems she has finally found her match and now we get to enjoy the story of her and Alejandro. Of course this story would not be complete without some minimal drama and the hinting around of many secrets. The ending is great and of course the glimpse into the prologue of book 4 is just WHAT !! NO WAY !!
I am thrilled with these books and cannot wait to find out more about Dahlia in her book next !!
