HASH(0xa566a660) out of 5 stars Not really sure where all these 5 stars reviews are coming from...*May contain spoilers* July 17 2013

So...I guess I just didn't "get" this book. I'll admit, I was a bit lost. It starts out with Megan getting ready for a date with her boyfriend of 5 years, whose house she has never been to (??), and then jumps right into several months later when she's pregnant with John's baby. Uhhhh...what? I mean, the time jump is fine, but let me know it's happening in some way. Honestly, for me, the book the just got worse from there. Megan meets Mark at a bar. Mark seems like a nice guy, but I don't understand his instant attraction to her. I mean, the first night he meets her, he texts her ALL NIGHT LONG. If that happened to me, I'd run. Far. And fast. There's just no explanation for why Mark feels the way he does. There's really no motivation for any of the characters. Which brings me to my real problem with this book which is that the plot and character development are severely lacking. In a story like this, you really have to show the characters evolving, give me insight into their behavior and motivations...keep me, as the reader, in the loop. This story had some honest potential. You don't see a lot of pregnant leading ladies in romance novels, and that I thought was awesome. But, this story needs serious work. Keep on trying!

HASH(0xa566a834) out of 5 stars Has Potential Aug. 11 2013

So I was given the opportunity to read this for an honest review. Unfortunately I found this to be a difficult task as I really didn't get the story or connect with the characters. The story begins with Megan and John and within a few pages has jumped to a pregnant Megan with no knowledge of what happened to her and John. We are then introduced to Mark who falls for Megan within minutes of meeting her.
Once I got to this point in the story, I struggled to complete it. I would have loved to have rated this story higher but I felt that the characters and storyline needed more development.

HASH(0xa5668210) out of 5 stars Lovely woman and stalkerish man April 3 2014

Such a beautiful cover, right?

Megan Madden was such a lovely person, but she had had little luck in her life. She was alone, waiting for her first child. While she was on a shopping trip with her best friend, she met Mark, with who she instantly clicked. Such a cute coincidence.

Except that Mark seemed to be a creep. He was a bit stalkerish (which is almost forgivable, because he did want to find Megan), but his behaviour was getting weirder and downright disgusting. Their relationship moved on unrealistically fast.

Trust is a quick read, it is possible to read it in one sitting. So I am not even sad about the time I lost. But while Megan was trying to regain her trust in men, I lost my trust in NA.

HASH(0xa56ae864) out of 5 stars Trust in Mark Oct. 6 2013

ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review.

Megan Madden's life is about to change dramatically. She is in London with her best friend Jenny finalizing Jenny's upcoming nuptial details. While in London, she meets Mark Reed. She has been hurt recently by her ex and she doesn't think it would be a good idea to let Mark into her life.
Mark is a successful businessman and he knows what he wants. When Mark meets Megan he knows he wants to get to know her. Now, if he could convince Megan to give him a chance.

Megan and Mark's story is sweet. I love the way they meet. It was a very unexpected situation. I didn't see it coming but it was a nice addition to the story. Mark was charming, handsome, responsible, caring, and determined to get the girl.
This was a fast read and I enjoyed it.

Veiled is book 2 and it is about Jenny's story. Can't wait to read it.

HASH(0xa56ae8d0) out of 5 stars 2 1/2 star review by Kota for Kota's Book Kollection Nov. 5 2013

"This story read a bit like a hard jigsaw puzzle, there were lots of pieces, yet none of them fit together easily. This started at the prologue for me, and sort of continued throughout the whole story." - Kota
