Seeing how we all hold Naughty Dog to the highest standard, I'm going to focus my review on being critical since all of the good things have been said time and time again. As such, this is not a standalone review but complimentary to the 5 star ones. I've given uncharted 4 a 4 out of 5 because my actual score would be a 9 and I'm rounding down to highlight the fact that this review is critical, unclouded by hype, and because I do have somewhat serious criticisms of the game.

The game's biggest problem is pacing. Whether it's over-indulgence in climbing, gimmicky sliding mechanics, pushing a magical crate around, grappling on overly convenient ropes, or exploring mostly empty pseudo-open world levels, uncharted 4 drags more than any ND game before it. We all knew the game would go with TLoU's more story-driven approach because of Straley and Druckmann, but the slower parts of U4 make TLoU's slow parts seem comparatively exciting. This is only made worse by the fact that Uncharted is known for its explosive action and mimicry of the summer blockbuster; half the time though, you may as well be watching This Is 40. Some of these slow paced parts contain masterful storytelling, but others just give you surface banter and aimless walking and climbing. These sections, which eat up half the game and easily inflated my would-be playtime of 8 hours to a staggering 20 hours, become even more mundane on replays. Unlike the previous two Uncharteds and TLoU where I couldn't wait to start my fourth playthrough, U4 feels like a chore the second time around.

Anyone who says the game is perfect is either overlooking the huge pacing flaws or is still riding the hype train. And I don't blame them.

This is definitely a masterpiece for Sony. A must play for those that has played the previous Uncharted series. Even if you haven't played the previous Uncharted titles, it is still worth playing. The graphics is beautiful and the story is unlike any other. The game ending truly concludes the Uncharted series with a very good ending.

probably my favorite game on the console, Nathan Drake is on the hunt for treasure one last time. Great looking game, excellent story line, there really isn't any bad part about this entire game. I only wish it was longer as it only took me a couple days to finish the game. At least there's replay value.

I received my game on time and was very excited to play this I dont want to say to much about the game itself because of the people that havent played it yet. Im not a big fan of games with a lot or long cut scenes but as a nathan drake fan i was ok with putting up with it. I know most games now adays are like that. I found the gameplay easier then the previous Drake games in the series. If you havent played The Last Of Us remastered I also recommend that one.

Naughty Dog outdid themselves with this one!!! The graphics and gameplay are absolutely incredible and it's my opinion that this Uncharted has the best story out of the entire series! In a way I hate to see an end to this series but perhaps it's best and one can hope that Naughty Dog is now beginning work on a new franchise. Either way it is a fitting end to the Uncharted series.
I can't comment on the multiplayer aspect of Uncharted 4 as I have yet to play that (as I have only just finished the solo campaign) but from what I've heard plus the comments I've read here that discuss it, I expect it to be great as well!
Bottom line is I can't recommend Uncharted 4 high enough!

Ordered this as a gift for my son. He loves it. The game was delivered fast and the packaging was perfect. I would love to explain the game play, but I dont get to play. He does say, and he's a gamer, that it's one of the best games he's ever played.

This game lives up to the hype. It truly is another masterpiece from Naughty Dog.
Please note that I haven't played the multiplayer and have no interest to play it. This is a spoiler free review.

Graphics: 10/10
There are some breath taking scenes in this game that really shows off the power of the PS4. You'll visit areas that explore different environmental themes that haven't yet been done in the Uncharted series. Each area holds its own graphically and feels unique to the series. The character animations are also brilliantly done.

Story: 10/10
As usual Naughty Dog delivered an unique story full of betrayal, love, and intrigue. It do start slow, but if you've played the previous games you'll be hooked from start to finish. Don't get me wrong, playing the previous games isn't a requirement to understanding the story here, but it is a plus as the games makes several remarks about Nathan's previous adventures.

Voice Acting: 10/10
Not much to say here. Perfect performance.

Performance: 9.5/10
I experienced one instance where it appeared I was hanging from nothing while climbing a cliff but the game fixed itself in a second. For a game that is this graphically impressive to only have one very small thing to mention after a single play through is huge and really shows off the quality of work Naughty Dog has done here.

Gameplay: 8/10
It's exactly what you'd expect from this genre. However, there is much more freedom here when compared to other games of this genre. Sometimes providing multiple ways to get from point A to B while also occasionally providing different conversation options. Though these options won't effect the outcome of the game they do succeed in making the game fresh.
