Product Description

Product Description

This unique, angsty, art-infused novel series is like a sexy CW show. Perfect for fans of H.M. Ward, Jamie McGuire, and Jennifer L. Armentrout.

Rich, beautiful, and wild, Reagan McKinley has everything she needs...but nothing that she wants. That is, until she spends one hot night in the arms of sexy, unbridled Dare Wilde.

She's a girl trapped in a rigid world she desperately wants to escape, and he's an untamed artist with an attitude, hell-bent on freeing her—body, mind, and soul. But Reagan's life is not her own, and Dare is not welcome in it. She can't include him in her carefully-controlled, extremely public lifestyle...and yet she cannot give him up.

Will a shared passion for art—and, increasingly, each other—be enough to keep them together? Or will it be the thing that ultimately tears them apart?

* This is episode 1 of a 5-episode new adult series. Each book in the series is like an episode of your favorite television drama, telling a full piece of a much larger story, ending on a cliffhanger and leading right into the next book. Due to mature subject matter (sexual situations and strong language) this book may not be suitable for all readers.

I read this story about a month ago and I promised myself that I must write a review for it. When I started reading the book, it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the two main characters (Reagan and Dare). Entitled, beautiful and wild Reagan and intense, bad boy, and utterly hot Dare meet as strangers in a bar. Little did they suspect that their lives will cross path again and their world will never be the same. The writers take you into their different lives and depict their separate worlds. As you join their adventure, finding out more about each character, you cannot escape the sexual tension between the two. The sexy scenes are remarkably well written and are intensely HOT and SEXY!!! I couldn’t wait for more sex scenes. The build up and suspense just haunts you and makes you scream for more and MORE. When I say the sex scenes are remarkably well written….well you will just have to read it and judge for yourself. This story isn’t all about sex, I love how there is a symmetry between the sex and the story line. The story gets deeper as you find unravel the characters' past. The question is, can they pull it together or will they get pulled apart in the end? I just love the couple together and it makes you want to root for them till the end. I’m so excited that there are 7 parts to the series! The story is enthralling and fresh. I couldn’t wait for the 2nd part to come!!!

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review. It is the first part of a seven part series.
"I need to get laid." This is how this story starts out. I was intrigued and happy to read on. Reagan McKingley is the main character. She is a little bit of a wild child. Admitting that her bed is never empty , alcohol and pills are big parts of her life and she views her sex life as the ONLY thing that she truly has control over and not her parents. She goes to the school her parents have picked out, wears the clothes they like and also socializes with the men they want her too. Well, most of the time.
At a bar one night with her parental approved date she comes across a stranger at the bar. He catches her eye, but he does not seem interested in her which of course spikes her interest more. She finally convinces him to have a drink with her. His name is Dare. Appropriate.
"What would you like?" he says.
"I'm not on the menu."
Of course, he takes a chance on her. She sleeps over, he actually makes her feel things. He makes her think about things, he makes her almost human.
His life growing up is the polar opposite of hers. He was from the wrong side of town, with a druggie mother and a criminal in jail for a father. He tries so hard to be responsible for his mom and siblings. The only thing that Reagan is responsible for is what to drink or what pills to take.
This story is so very deep. She is so zombie like before him as she barely exists. He opens up her mind and heart and makes her feel things.
He says "Don't take your pills, Just for tonight, let me be enough Ree."
How can you not love this guy.

'I didn't trust love. It had never done anything for me but give me false hope, mask manipulation, and break me(...)I was living a pretend life, all artificial happiness and forged feelings. And no one even noticed.'

WOW...this novella was way more awesome than I had anticipated. It had me pretty much from the start until the very end. And after that cliffhanger, I can't wait to continue this series.

Reagan McKinley comes from a wealthy family full of false smiles and where behaving with utmost propriety is of importance. But that isn't who she is. Her only escape, the only way to numb herself is to use drugs, drink, and have sex. This is the part of her she can control and her parents know nothing about. All of that changes when she meets Dare Wilde. The moment their eyes meet there is this sexual tension between them, but it is quickly gone when Dare masks his emotions and shows disinterest towards her. Reagan loves a challenge, she wants him, so she will do whatever she can to have him in her bed...for just one night.

I really enjoyed this novella. I was intrigued by Reagan and how she behaved. It was awesome to read a book about a bad girl trying to get the guy. Their first encounter is intense and scorching hot!! This is what Reagan does, one night stands. But this guy changes things for her. Then there is another night, and another, and so forth. I totally didn't blame her for changing her ways.

Dare was an enigma and I wanted to know everything about him. He was an artist who loved painting and sketching. He was sexy, and alpha and amazing. Reagan is an art aficionado, so after finding something in common that they shared, the more they enjoyed hanging out with each other than just having sex.

I don't really care that there were no typos!! I don't care that I feel pain for both lead characters!! I DONT CARE THAT THEY DONT END UP TOGETHER!!!!! I'm so sick of reading only part of a story cause the author wants to follow the lead of other authors and make ONE BOOK into 6, or however many they can drag it into!!! I'm so sick of this new craze where they split up a story. If that is what I wanted I would sit on my a$$ all day and watch Soaps!!

HASH(0xa0d9fdc8) out of 5 stars Dare and Ree forever!!! (hopefully) *bites nails* May 24 2014

When I pick up a book I always go into it with mixed feelings. I'm hopeful that I will connect with the story but at the same time not overly hopeful in case it doesn't happen and I am left feeling let down. Untamed is a story I went into feeling like I would enjoy it but not really expecting it to reach into my guts and pull out such a strong reaction from me but to my surprise it absolutely did. the first thoughts that ran through my head when I finished were

"Sh--!! This can't be over already?!! I need more!! More Dare, more Ree, more of the passion and intense chemistry between these two characters!!"

A rich girl. An average guy. Two people who find in each other something to grab onto in this crazy world? Yeah. Untamed was amazing!

Reagan is running. Away from her perfect life and the sterile lack of warmth it provides. Finding her solace in pills, booze and one nights stands. She;s not a girl who was looking for anything serious but during a night out at a trendy club she meets the sexy, dark and intense Dare Wilde. She's way outside of his league but they can't deny the connection between them. I had no idea when I started that I would get so wrapped up in the story because I can hardly relate to a wealthy socialite who is disillusioned with her wealth, because I live in the freaking ghetto! I've never had much money and have had to work for everything I've gotten in life. But I could understand her disgust at constantly being told what to do and being at the mercy of the ones who held the money which in turn controlled her. Her parents. Being a free spirit I can't imagine what it would be like to have someone constantly telling me what to do because I do what I want. Reagan doesn't have it so lucky so I could totally understand her wanting to escape with pills, booze and random guys for however brief the escape lasts.

Dare Wilde can have my panties, my babies and anything else I can give up for him. This guys, seriously, Dare was fiercely intriguing and sexy. He's a passionate guy who paints beautiful images on canvas and busts his a-- to take care of his family. Running from his own issues with his father in jail for murder and his mother a former junkie he's not at all what Reagan is used to. He knows this and tries to warn her away with little effect. She always gets what she wants but he sees inside to the girl craving normalcy and opens her up like a flower. It wasn't a situation where she needed him to be herself, it was more like he saw she was hiding herself behind drugs and sex and took the time to discover who she was. Dare has a very strong personality to be such a quiet and laid back guy. I kept asking myself as I read further "What else can Dare do to make me love him more?" then he would say something amazing to Reagan or support her in a difficult time or just be there for her and I died a thousand times. Dare didn't have the easiest life but his willingness to shoulder the burden Reagan carried around was astonishing and selfless.

With two people from completely different sides of life situations it's almost a star crossed love story. With Reagan's family preparing for political aspirations it's only a matter of time before her and Dare are tested through trials. I always hate coming to these types of crossroads in a story but with five more serials in the series left to go there's so much more to tell between these two. These characters are pushed to their limits and with the painful way this novella closed I'm a little terrified to keep going. it's to late for me now though because I'm at the mercy of Jinsey and Green especially seeing where the next one picks up at. SAVE YOURSELVES!! Lol. Untamed blew me away with it's angst and intensity. It provided me a much needed escape that had me tuning out everything and everyone until I was finished. Nothing beats a thoughtful and honest look into the lives of two characters forced apart but destined to be together.

HASH(0xa0da2024) out of 5 stars Not that good Feb. 13 2015

Untamed was an annoying story for me. It was a poor little rich girl story. I guess I am supposed to feel bad for Reagan and all, but I didn't really understand why she just didn't leave her family. She was old enough to get out on her own so...why does she put up with it all if she hates it so much? It just doesn't make any sense.

So Reagan is this super unhappy rich girl who has to pretend to be perfect for her family. So when she is not with them she uses lots of drugs and pills and faceless boys to try and fill the void. She want to take art classes and do stuff with that, but she has to take what her family wants. I know she has something bad that happened in the past (*spoiler even though I don't know if it is true* I think it is that she was raped as that is just what I assumed from the first time she hints at it) and her family swept it under the rug and acts like nothing happened. Sure that can mess you up, but the way it was written just made me not really sympathetic towards her.

Then of course she meets Dare and he is just exactly what she needs to feel safe and happy. Dare tries to push her away, but she won't budge. So then they sleep together and then quickly are pretty much living together. He is just this perfect bandaid for her life and it just didn't work for me. It wasn't written so it was believable. Reagan has a part time job and so I don't know why she couldn't figure out a way to get away from her family and live her life like she wants to. She was too old to be so...If she would have been younger, in her teens, I would have understood more why she stayed. And the ending? It was just like really Reagan? Really? It was just some useless drama and then she is upset when she can't make things better like they used to be. It does end in a bit of a cliffhanger, but I don't really care enough to read another book.

AGAIN....I love this series. You really familiarize yourself with all the characters and takes you to that fantasy world one would wish to be a part of. The detailed descriptions that the author goes into really makes you feel alive and part of the story. I can't wait for her next book . I can't say enough about this series and the author's penmenship.

I don't mind paying for her books one bit!
