Product description

Review

"Easily one of the funniest things that I’ve read in recent memory. A brisk, bouncy, enthusiastic mix of Hollywood-adjacent anecdotes, youthful remembrances, score-settling essays and love letters to many recreational drugs, Yearbook is everything that audiences have come to admire about Rogen wrapped up in one tidy, wry, extraordinarily affable package."
—The Globe & Mail

“In need of oddball anecdotes and lots of F bombs? Seth Rogen has you covered. . . . Yearbook features a hilarious collection of real-life stories and personal essays that delve into his adolescence and career.”
—USA Today

"Barkingly funny—to the point where I was kicked out of a room in my own apartment for laughing too much"
Toronto Star

“The actor and writer will have you keeled over in laughter with his memoir, made up of a collection of essays that will make you think about the world differently. . . . Fasten your seatbelts for this page-turner, folks.”
—Men’s Journal

“Everyone’s favorite stoner recalls his childhood, youth, and first stirrings of Hollywood success. . . . Fans of Rogen will enjoy his laid-back, whimsical memoir.”
Kirkus Reviews

“At first I was worried that Seth was writing a book, because I was like, ‘Oh no! What’s he gonna say?’ I was actually scared to even read it. But I’m very happy I did. It’s not really a memoir, like I thought it might be. I guess it’s more of a bunch of funny true stories? Does that make sense? He talks about doing stand-up when he was a kid (I drove him to all his shows!), his grandparents, high school, moving to LA, meeting some famous people, things like that. If I’m being honest, I really wish there wasn’t so much drug talk. Why does he need all that! It’s like, ‘We get it!’ And some of the stories? I mean, they’re entertaining, but I was just shocked they happened and he never told me! Overall, I think it’s more sweet and funny than anything, so I like it, and I’m glad he wrote it, but I’d be even more glad if he called me more.”
—Sandy Rogen, Seth’s mother

5.0 out of 5 stars didn’t disappoint one bit
By Luna on May 20, 2021
Im a huge fan of Seth rogan and his work, so I had to check this book out. Turns out I absolutely loved it! couldn't put it down till I finished it. It’s much more unique than an autobiography of who Seth Rogan is from a historical/chronological perspective but a much more personal perspective that focuses on experiences/stories that impacted his life. Seth Rogan writes about high-school, celebrity interactions, jewish camp, career, family and drug stories that will make you tear up from laughter. It was specifically fun for me to read because I could really related my high school experience to his and really enjoyed/agreed reading about his opinions on topics like weed, Hollywood, comedy, and Nicolas Cage. If you have a good sense of humour than buy this book! great book 10/10 and with some thc 100/10

4.0 out of 5 stars Smudged Cover
By Caitlin Betker on May 31, 2021
We love Seth Rogen, so I’m sure we will love the book, but the front cover was gross. I’m not totally sure what is on it, it wiped away with a damp paper towel, but that left it pretty “streaky.” You can always removed the protective cover, just seems like a bad choice. The cover underneath is in good condition. I would buy it again if needed, just wouldn’t be shocked if it also came dirty.

1.0 out of 5 stars The book sleeve was torn
By Rosemary shea on June 15, 2021
I received the book on May 29 but just opened the box as it is a gift for my husband. When I opened it up and took the book out, the sleeve was torn. I taped it up, but disappointing as it is a gift. Would be nice if I could get a replacement sleeve as otherwise the book is fine.
