Review
"Hague's paintings of the Boy who loves his velveteen pet are gentle, romantic, and faithful in showing details ... of the original publication period. It is, however, the beautiful outdoor scenes, outstanding for their restrained use of color and effective contrast of light and shadow, that make this sentimental story extended in so apposite a fashion." --Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books

"My son is OBSESSED with Jack and the Beanstalk by Storytime Soundtracks"
"This story was a big hit with my 10, 8, 3 and 1 year old children. The background sounds and music give the impression of a film and enrich the storytelling."
"My high-functioning son finds it hard to sit through a whole book but could quote the Robin Hood story word for word as he loves it that much!"
"I just wanted to let you know how much my 4yo and I enjoy listening to Robin Hood every night. He and I both look forward to our bedtime routine every night and the calm enjoyment we get listening your fantastic telling of the classic story. I especially love the short songs in between chapters, they are so well done. Also the narrator is excellent, with a soothing calm voice, and all the character voices bring the story to life. Again, a big BRAVO on creating this, we love it!"
"Our whole family loves the Robin Hood story and my five year old son and three year old daughter listen to it pretty much every day! The story is perfectly engaging without being overly dramatic for my sensitive kids. They like to dress up as Robin and Marian and re-enact the story over and over, which delights us! We love the addition of Eleanor Dale as a healer and the fact that Marian is a fearless champion herself. We cannot wait for more from Storytime Soundtracks!"
