First, to flesh out the good: I've tried this with both a Nexus 4, and (once I got a wireless dongle for it, USB Bluetooth V4.0 3.0 Wireless Mini Adapter Dongle for PC Win 7 8) my Windows 10 home PC. Pairing was painless, I can understand the people I'm calling through it, and vice versa. Battery life is reasonable, though not lengthy compared to what I've heard of for other similar devices. And even on a VOIP call with the other party's sound coming through my PC speakers rather than the earpiece, it seems to do a reasonable job of not picking up too much of the surrounding noise.
However, the audio quality is poor. I know it's not because of Bluetooth, as I've encountered people over a decade ago with headsets that had much clearer audio than this. Worn on the ear alone, it constantly feels like it's about to fall off, and both the over-the-head band and behind-the-head strap are uncomfortable to wear - the metal band of the former especially feels distinctly too small for my head. The charging stand didn't work properly for me, and though it also has a direct charging port, which did the job, it doesn't seem able to charge while it's in use (at least, when I tried - leaning way over to get the included cable to connect - it just kept beeping what I presume is the low-battery warning at me).
The English documentation is bad, plainly written by some person or persons who not only do not speak it natively, but don't even speak it fluently. It contains at least one obviously incorrect statement ("Make sure the distance between the headphone and moble phone is more than 10 meters"), and a few others which are less easy for the end user to automatically correct as they relate to how to use the thing. I attempted to follow the included instructions for muting the microphone, and did not get the expected feedback that it worked. That being so, I find it a safer bet to just take it off, put it down, and walk away if I need to do something else for a moment, or to mute through my VOIP software, than risk it muting and not unmuting, letting me talk to dead air for a while without noticing.
The audio quality may be less of an issue when using a cell phone, as cellular calls don't have stellar voice quality to begin with. But the poor ergonomics are that much more of a problem for a device that should ostensibly be able to be used on-the-go - especially the precarious perch when wearing on-ear only. For VOIP, I know there's far better out there. It works, and the price point is reasonable, but it's no more than serviceable at best, and I wouldn't want to wear it for long.
