Classical music is still alive, just because it is called "classical", it does not mean we have to always play music that people wrote several hundred years ago. Don't make it wrong, those pieces they wrote are amazingly memorable and beautiful; do we still keep playing these legendary pieces 200 thousands years later, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, etc. they would be bored if people afterwards are still and will play their music again and again, nothing new created. I strongly support the idea to combine the western and eastern music together to refresh the classical music, give it a new look, absorb some elements from all genres of modern music, add it to classical music, participate in movies, Tv's, video games and other forms of media. That is how classical music will survive and remain to be epic and classical. This Soul calibur IV soundtrack sets a good example how it could be done, it may not be the best(still surprisingly and ultimately good in my opinion) in the world, it definitely points to the right direction...
