With the voice of an angel, the look of a movie star and the soul of an artist, Masri is poised to become Canada's next vocal sensation! 'La Voce' is the debut release from Canadian (Toronto born) Mark Masri Masri's soulful tenor is one of the finest voices of his generation, and coupled with his tall, dark and handsome appeal, he is poised for international stardom! In addition to his incomparable vocals, Mark is a piano player, songwriter and producer. Mark also co-wrote all but one of the original songs on LA VOCE, and for the rest of the repertoire, he chose a virtuosic array of songs in six languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, Hebrew and Arabic. 'Mark has a stirring combination of a golden voice and world-class songwriting skills' - Fraser Walters - the Canadian Tenors 'Mark's rich and powerful voice transcends traditional boundaries of popular music and takes the audience away to a different time and place. They don't just listen, but are moved, and that is a rare gift.' - Jim Brickman.

A small side note; Mark Masri sounds just as good in person, so if you like to take in a live show you should see if he's going to be in your area.
He actually is more dynamic live, which is not usually the case, as most artists rely on production and lack of talent , which does not seem to be the case with Masri. His voice soars on such tunes as Hold on, and a collaboration with John Secada.
Though Masri's strength is in ballads, a few more medium to upbeat songs would have added a little more interest and texture to this recording.
Otherwise, it's a good choice for an introduction to perhaps the next big thing!!
He has a wonderful voice but thought the sound was lacking something.
It needed a richer sound. I listened to each song waiting to be wowed but in the end was dissapointed. Sorry Mark, I do love your voice.
