I didn't think I was going to like this too much what with the girl-pretending-to-be-a-boy theme introduced last volume and the pink cover this time. BTW, I loooved Vol. 2's cover! So, I was surprised to find I did enjoy this volume. I really do like the characters in the spotlight this volume, they are so sweet. I really like Hime, she's so fresh and naive (but in a refreshing way). When her gruff voices come out it is so cute. The end of this book had an interview with some real voice acting students which was very interesting; that theme was what drove me to try this series in the first place. The plot here concentrates on the only two boys (plus her manager) who know she is pretending to be a boy so I wasn't faced with any of the stuff I didn't like. The middle section dealt with a lot of romantic feelings between Hime and various boys and off-scene ex-girlfriends as well. This did get quite confusing for me as I'm just too old to appreciate this sort of highschool heart-throb stuff. Perhaps if one is a vampire or such, maybe? LOL. Anyway, this is a decent series, cute and so far totally clean. I'd recommend it to the intended audience but it is just not my thing and I will not continue any further, though I did enjoy my peek into the series.

HASH(0x9d0e1354) out of 5 stars Adorable volume! Sept. 24 2014

Hime is now living on her own. Part of her deal is showbiz. That and how, outside of school, she is living a double life acting as a boy to make it.

This is my favorite volume so far. We get a lot of fantastic backround information on Mizuki and the girl he liked and once tried to help. We learn why he is is eager to help Hime. So sweet, yet so sad. The story drew my closer to the Aqua boys.

Hime is struggling to use her prince voice on a regular basis but a "cure" may have been found. Her story in this plays a bit smaller of a role as we get to know the other characters which was nice.

Another adorable volume, this series just seems to get better and better. Great for older audiense but clean and playful enough for younger reads too.

**I was given a digital copy from Viz Media in exchange for a fair, honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed here are strictly my own.**
HASH(0x9d0e1624) out of 5 stars Very good Sept. 17 2014

[More of my reviews are available on my blog, Geeky Reading, to which there's a link on my profile.]

So, there was a lot of Kudo in this volume. And, honestly, that makes me really happy. Sometimes, at school, he’s a big jerk. But then Hime meets him while pretending to be a boy, and he’s a whole new person. And I kind of love him. I just want to get to know him better, and I’m surprised by how strongly my feelings for him already are. (But, I mean, he has a hoard of stray cats. How could I resist that?)

We also got to know the Aqua boys, Mizuki and Shu, a lot better. Hime spent a lot of time training with them. She’s still having problems getting her voice under control, of which her manager is not happy. Shu is violent but kind of entertaining, and protective of Mizuki; Mizuki is more quiet, but still hurt over something from his past.

I’m enjoying getting to know the other boys, and intrigued by where the romance is going. I’m enjoying the voice acting side of things, as well as Hime’s family problems. I like seeing Hime work to get better with her voice, and I hope that she actually does progress with that. I like Kudo, as I’ve said. I’m enjoying the other character and relationship development. I’m looking forward to reading the next book.
