Takes a bit of practice at first considering that as you draw you must rewire your brain to follow your drawing on screen as opposed to staring at the pad. Once you've kicked the habit of looking down, as you would a piece of paper, you'll find the pad quite enjoyable, although you might find yourself eishing you would have bought the larger version!
But as said before, this pad is great for children or beginners!
It's my first tablet and it was surprisingly easy to use and it took me almost no time to get used to it, the software it comes with is great. If you're looking for an easy to use, inexpensive beginner tablet i'd say this is the one to get.
It's been months since I got it, I'm much busier now but I still love and use the tablet on occasion it works great does everything I need I've never had a problem with it, I often don't unplug it after use and just use it as a mouse after drawing. I can't see myself needing to upgrade ever because it does everything I'd ever need.
It's light weight and easy to take with you on the road or wherever you need to take it. It's thin, easily portable, and has great response time. Works beautiful with Photoshop CS6, Photoshop Elements, and as a mouse, and comes with it's own software, which I didn't bother to use, but is fun to poke around in.
My two biggest problems are the nibs and the USB connection cord. The nibs, as previously stated above, are worn down very fast and are hard to replace, and the cord is so flimsy, I lose connection because of problems with the plug in end of the tablet. It makes it difficult to draw consistently when you're drawing with one hand, and have your arm over the cord to use your keyboard with the other, and each time you move, the tablet disconnects itself.
Otherwise, this product is great. I'd maybe took for something a little more expensive to get a more reliable cord. I would sacrifice the disconnectable cord for one that was permanently attached if it meant I reduced disconnection problems between my computer and the tablet, however, there isn't a lot on the market like this tablet for the same price.
This tablet was initially advertised as something for "presentation markup" or the likes. It does work in that respect, but it does just as well as a portable drawing tablet. The pen is very responsive, and certainly beats doodling in MS Paint with your mouse. There's no battery, which is a downfall some other tablets have. You won't be worrying about your pen running out of juice anytime soon. It does take some getting used to, however. Initially, it may be difficult to direct your pen exactly how you would like it to move, and if you are more used to actually looking at your drawings while working on them, then it will take some getting used to.
The more expensive versions of this tablet that advertise some additional features like a few buttons and better pressure gauging aren't going to improve your experience dramatically. This tablet will work just as well, and unless you really crave having a larger canvas (the top model has double the drawing space), then stick to this basic model. You won't find yourself cramped by any means. I've worked on this tablet for hours without issue, drawing up equations on Sketchbook as well as doodling here and there. It works insanely well for anything pen based.
I must also say that the tablet makes a great replacement for your mouse in operating your regular applications. If you've been using the mouse too frequently, like I did during one insane gaming session, then switch to this tablet.Read more ›
I primarily bought it to play the rhythm game Osu!, and it works PERFECTLY for that!
At first I thought that the software that came with it was trash, but once I figured out that you could set custom shortcuts I loved it! I use the "bamboo dock" to launch Osu! or Paint Tool SAI frequently. It's perfect for both of these programs; the pressure sensitivity is great in SAI, and the high precision is great in Osu!
One thing though, if you are going to buy this then don't buy extra nibs right away, it comes with 3 extra ones in the box!

Works great, love the pen features. The only issue I have is that occasionally the buttons don't work but I think that's more to do with my computer than the tablet. Read morePublished 9 months ago by Katherine Bogle
The tablet itself is great and it comes with a cool program called ArtRage Studio. Learning slope for beginners is steep but once you get the hang of it, it is fun. Read morePublished 12 months ago by ryc

Show's scratches on the tablet even when you apply only a little pressure. Other than that it's a good beginner drawing tablet.Published 19 months ago by Marlon
