Wacom Tech Corp. Bamboo Stylus for iPad/TabletsBamboo Stylus. Capacitive pen stylus for iPad and Tablets. Packaging may vary.
From the Manufacturer
The Wacom Bamboo Stylus allows you to draw, sketch, take notes, and express yourself creatively on your iPad. With its firm, balanced feel, Bamboo Stylus offers a more comfortable way to take notes in meetings and classroom settings or to sketch out ideas on the go. A slim tip offers exceptional precision for drawing or navigating your touchscreen, and the tip's special coating ensures a pen-like feel on your tablet's touchscreen. Wacom even offers a free download, the Bamboo Paper App, which works like a virtual notebook on your iPad or home computer.
Elegant Design, Natural Feel
The Bamboo Stylus combines comfort and elegance with its sophisticated design, satin-textured metal body, and balanced weighting. Featuring a small stylus tip (6 millimeters in diameter), the stylus provides a precise digital inking experience. A special coating on the rubber stylus tip gives it a natural, pen-like feel.
The Bamboo Stylus weighs 20 grams, is 120 millimeters in length, and features a 9-millimeter pen barrel.
Ideal for Artists and Note Takers
The Bamboo Stylus makes the iPad even more versatile by making it possible to take handwritten notes, highlight text, edit documents, and sketch out ideas. It can be used effectively with a number of apps developed for the iPad, including Bamboo Paper, which allows you to write notes digitally as you would on paper, and GoodReader, which allows you to add comments or sign your name to PDF documents, and many others.
For visual artists and doodlers, the stylus works well with Autodesk's SketchBook Express, a drawing and sketching app; Adobe Ideas, which enables you to add your own embellishments to an image; Doodle Buddy, a simple doodle pad; and ArtRage, a fun painting experience on iPad.
Bamboo Paper App Functions as a Digital Notebook
An excellent companion to the Bamboo Stylus, the Bamboo Paper App is available for free download via the Wacom App Store and iTunes. Featuring a number of different paper types (blank, lined, or graph), several pen thickness selections and ink color options, Bamboo Paper offers the ease of your own natural handwriting as you smoothly sketch your thoughts and ideas on digital paper. With a touch of the stylus, you can create your own notebooks, manage your digital note library, and sketch ideas that can be archived for future use.
With a user interface that is fun and easy to use, Bamboo Paper lets you flip through your notes and browse thumbnail images of your pages. You can even bookmark important pages and send an individual page or an entire book by email.
Compatibility and Warranty Information
The Wacom Bamboo Stylus is compatible with the iPads and most mobile tablet devices.
The stylus is backed by a one-year warranty.

The added weight gives this one a good feel in the hand, and renders using it less troublesome than lighter styluses.
Out of the box the sensitivity of the tip is flawless. My concern is for how long before a replacement tip is needed? Perhaps something to bear in mind during purchase.
All in all, a better stylus by comparison to the average - for a premium in price of course.
I originally got it for doing music theory on the IPAD, it works, but drawing little round notes is a bit of a challenge.
Stay away from the Targus's spongie tip - junk.
After I got it, no regrets...fantastic product.
Did everything I expect it to do. Threw out the other pens I purchased previously.
Awesome price on Amazon!
The iPad responds very well to the rubber nib, which is the smallest one I have seen, so very good for writing. I was taking notes all day today on my iPad in a seminar and the Bamboo is the best writing stylus I have yet to use.
I gave this stylus four stars because, although it is relatively well balanced and feels good in the hand, it (like many other stylus') is shorter than a regular pen. I don't understand why manufacturers can't produce a stylus that is the same length and weight of a normal pen! Other than this small objection, this is the best stylus I have used so far (and I have tried a lot) for writing on the iPad.
Another feature I would like to see is the inclusion of a regular pen for writing on paper. I have owned a number of stylus' that also had pens built in, but they were not great quality. If Bamboo came out with a stylus of this quality, longer and with a regular pen built in it would be unbeatable.
OK.......I'm an idiot. Just found the Bamboo stylus that also has a pen in it! My bad. So, changing this review to 5 stars. I rdredd the "duo" and will review.

This product is a nice size but it is quite heavy for a stylus. I found it dragged across the screen slowly unless your screen was cleaned to perfection.Published 4 days ago by Amazon Customer

I just picked this up from the mailbox yesterday. Yet, I really do not find it any better than the fibre tipped one I already own. Now, the iPad is configured for a human finger. Read morePublished 6 months ago by hirundine
I don't understand some of the other reviews. Maybe they got faulty products, or are just applying to much pressure. Have been using mine on the I Pad without any issues. Read morePublished 6 months ago by klara moskovitz
