I have been using Wacom tablets as replacement for about 6 years now. I've always had great confidence in there responsiveness and the Intuos Pro lives up to the expectations on that part.

Pros:
-Fast and responsive
-Tilt recognition opens up a whole new world of possibilities with brushes in supported softwares (Photoshop in my case)
-The included wireless kit allows reduced clutter on the desktop and simplifies switching between and mouse and a tablet (not the case for me)
-The radial menu and configurable function keys are a nice addition and hovering your finger over the buttons brings up a menu detailing the macros associated with each. Well thought!
-The battery charge seems to last, but I'll have to update to review for any further details.

Cons:
-I thought other reviewers were a bit overreacting when they stated it, but the USB cable connection is FLIMSY at best. I've only had to insert it once and the way the connection wiggles around one it's attached is not reassuring to say the least. I can only hope this won't break. While I honestly don't think it will, I would definitely pay attention as to not move the tablet while this cable is connected.
-The touch recognition is a step above my older Bamboo Pen & Touch, yet is still too unresponsive compared to my apple trackpad. Simple two finger gestures have to be repeated a couple of times before I can scroll pages.
-The addition of the function keys on the side of the tablet make it a bit larger than the old bamboo pen & touch, which might lead to some problems if you want it side by side with your keyboard as the tablet will be sitting a bit more to your side than what I was used to.

Seemless technology at your fingertips can transform art to reality. I'm a frequent Photoshop user, and a mouse just doesn't cut it for the other half. The Intuos Pro Medium is the perfect balance between size and function. A large enough active area for big sweeping motions makes any digital painter's canvas more flexible, and the precision of 2048 pressure levels makes even the most detailed inking swift. For first time users, it will come with a learning curve that is easily trampled with practice and patience.

The wireless functionality makes this drawing tablet very handy for those who have a cluttered desk and need to use the tablet on their laps!

I would recommend this drawing tablet to any digital artist, be it amateur or professional or in-between.

I love my Wacom Tablet. This is a must have for anyone who edits photos or videos. Probably other stuff too. It does take a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it increase your productivity by a long shot.

It's very customizable! You can change what all the buttons do, what the turn dial does, the buttons on the pen and even get it to be pressure sensitive. Just a great tool and a must have for all creatives!

Size: Large Verified Purchase
I chose the Wacom Intuos Pro Pen Large tablet because I thought the bigger the tablet would be, the easier it would be to draw complex drawings on it. Finally, I would have preferred something a bit smaller, as the tablet is still not big enough to say I have tendency to do ample movements when drawing. I would obtain the same results with the medium tablet, plus it would be easier to carry. Please note that this is my personal review, and for some people the large tablet may be the best choice.

Overall, however, the tablet is easy of use, performant, slim and light, and I really like the fact it is wireless, even if I expected the battery to last a little longer.

PTH651 is a great product. Accelerates the post production process for photography. A must have for anyone serious about image editing.

Pros:
Easy to use. Took about 1 hour to get used to it. Parameters are fully configurable. Good battery life; 6 hours +. Features are easy to understand. Pen size is good and comfortable in the hand.

Cons:
The wireless adapter storage trap is a pain to get open if you don't have 'longish' nails or a pen close by. Mini USB connector is a bit on the flimsy side. Tablet takes a lot of space on computer desk (see product dimensions). None are deal breakers for me though, hence 5 star review.

Size selection (feedback for future buyers)
Before buying I was considering the Large version (PTH851) until I read many reviews which highlighted the fact that a Large is aimed at drawing artists who require long drawing strokes. And it's absolutely true, there is no need for a larger format for standard image editing. I use a dual screen setup and the medium sized tablet comes in handy. If I were to use a single screen, I would definitely have preferred the Small tablet (PTH451)
It always depends on how you intend to use it, what screen setup you have (single vs double) and portability. If you are a laptop user who needs mobility and convenience, go for Small. It'll make your life easier and save you some bucks.
Don't let the tablet dimensions vs active area fool you!! Medium has 8.8"x5.5" active space and it is more than enough when you use a post processing software and a dual screen setup.

I would also recommend getting a carry case/bag with the tablet to protect from scratches and keep it clean.
