Product Description

From New York Times bestselling author, Samantha Towle comes a sexy and laugh-out-loud stand-alone romance…

Vaughn West is at the height of his acting career. He’s the it man of Hollywood—until the ultimate betrayal sends him into a downward spiral of alcohol-infused days, ending with a different woman in his bed every night. His only way out of the funk is accepting a new movie deal with the hottest director in Hollywood.

Charlotte Michaels is a designer-brands girl on a thrift-store budget until she lands the mother of all jobs as Vaughn West’s wardrobe assistant on his latest movie.

Only their first meeting doesn’t go as planned, and now, Vaughn is acting like a jerk.

So, why do their clothes seem to keep falling off whenever they’re around each other? And why can’t Charly seem to keep her mind in the closet and off Vaughn?

Things are about to get hot, dirty, and messy in Hollywood. Especially if Charly’s closely guarded secret falls out of her closet.

5 Stars! Nice epilogue, laughed out loud and even had tears in my eyes at times. Not overly long, but truly enjoyed.

How could I not fall for the heroine in this fast-paced story! Charlotte Michaels, also known as Charly, is offered the job of a lifetime by her bestie and can’t believe her luck. Who wouldn’t when the guy you’re going to work for is the man of your dreams! What I liked about this seamstress was not only her professionalism, but also her no-nonsense character. One thing is working for Vaughn West, Hollywood actor extraordinaire, another is putting up with him! Yep, I was in for a surprise or three in this romcom-cum-contemporary romance standalone read in one sitting. The carrot and the stick approach used throughout the story was very cleverly done; however, I have to confess my suspicions were correct.

The reader is thrown head first into a scenario where Vaughan discovers the worst. The revelation is harsh, wounding and in this instance, I felt sorry for him. Nevertheless, I had trouble investing in Vaughan and more than once, was given the impression this was exactly what Ms Towle wanted to portray. All said and done, he comes across as a total t***. Regardless of him being a difficult person to work for, both Charly and I gave him the benefit of the doubt. It didn’t take either of us long to realise he’s not who we thought he was. Her not being a gossiper I liked a lot and I couldn’t have been more enthused by the way she held her cards close to her chest. Even when the going get tough, she tries her hardest to keep her cool.

Folk fed off Vaughn’s juicy and scandalous reputation and in parenthesis, couldn’t be ignored. Plenty of backstabbing, jealousy and devious goings on are rife in surroundings easily envisaged and well-defined. And to top the lot, Vaughn’s personal life is one big malfunction.

When I started this book, I thought it was just going to get me through the day. I couldn't put it down. It was cute, and funny. The writing style sucked me in right away. I actually cried at one point that I think only 5 other books I've read has ever made me cry. The characters (even a hot Hollywood star) felt down to earth and real. Definitely a must read!

4.0 out of 5 stars an exquisite blend of sweet romance, delicious steam and pulse pounding angst Feb. 18 2017
By Jessica Sotelo - Angie & Jessica's Dreamy Reads - Published on Amazon.com

It's perfectly appropriate that I just finished reading Samantha Towle's newest book on Valentine's Day. Wardrobe Malfunction is an exquisite blend of sweet romance, delicious steam and pulse pounding angst and, for a romance reader that craves all three, there's no better way to spend the holiday made for love than getting lost in a lush love story like this one.

I haven't read a good Hollywood romance in quite a while, so I found the timing of this story beautifully refreshing. Vaughn West is an A-list movie star just coming down from a tabloid scandal. Charly Michaels is a wardrobe assistant who just landed a job on the set of Vaughn's next film. The storyline Towle crafted for these characters was just...so... right. Adorable. Sexy. Funny. It's everything a light and sweet romance should be. Everything from the sexy banter to the delicious pace to the unexpected moments of angst and heartbreak were just SO GOOD.

I love the celebrity element in this story, the fame, the glitz, the decadence. There's something so delicious about a story set upon the pedestal of Hollywood. There's a sense of unavailability in Hollywood, this feeling of a movie star being untouchable to the rest of us. And, honestly, there's no greater fantasy for anyone than a celebrity falling in love with them. Undeniably, that's what all of our romance dreams are made of. But so much sweeter, to be honest, is the simplicity of a romance between a regular guy and a regular girl. Lucky for us, in Wardrobe Malfunction, Samantha Towle gives us both. She creates this megastar who has it all, success, fame, wealth, privilege, and she makes him a relatable, sweet, flawed guy-next-door with a funny family and the desire to settle down with the right girl. With obstacles at every turn, both the cliche Hollywood-type drama and the kind of troubles any couple faces when secrets and jealousy and love are involved, this story is as angsty as it is romantic, as trying as it is satisfying.

This story is perfectly paced, packed with sharp banter, and laced with just the right amount of conflict that's timed just right. I devoured Wardrobe Malfunction in one sitting. This story is sexy and oh so steamy. It's a story of falling in love when the timing is all wrong but the chemistry is just right. It's a Cinderella story where the Prince of Hollywood finds himself reluctantly chasing the off-limits girl who mends his clothes. It's smart and witty and romantic and I laughed as often as I swooned. This one is a win!

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh my! She cried! I cried! Feb. 20 2017

I started writing notes for my review early on. I wanted to write was I was feeling at that time and adding to it once I finished. I recently read a book that made me hate the H. It was bad enough that Amazon wouldn't post my review (had one questionable word that has 2 ** in place of some letters to make my point without actually writing the word). I was afraid this one was going that way as well. So this is how I felt it the beginning: This book has 41 chapters. I spent a 3rd of it just short of hating Vaughn. I just don't think "I am sorry" is strong enough to forgive him. I had so many jaw dropping moments that I lost count. How can someone be so cruel? He actually hurt her on purpose. It's the typical "he likes her so he is mean to her...just so she won't like him" excuse. Doesn't seem right. /// My notes at the end: Then something happened. I absolutely fell in love with Vaughn. The story kicked into high gear. It really took off. I was so drawn in. Even from the start. I'm glad I wrote notes in the beginning because I would have forgot. I wanted to show that it does pay to continue. I loved the journey between Vaughn and Charly. I loved this story and how I feel right now. I'd highly recommend. It is so worth the read. I sacrificed quite a few tears. But it so worth it. Plus, it helps it's written by an amazing author! Bravo.

Outstanding!!!!

What a fantastic book, Vaughn and Charly lit up the pages with their witty humor and sizzling sex scenes. This fun flirty hilarious story will have you laughing in the most inappropriate ways. I couldn't put it down, I was laughing uncontrollably, (Snorts happened here) Samantha has brought out the fun with these characters.
It's a complete page turner and left me wanting so much more.
DO NOT READ THIS IN PUBLIC. Unless you want people looking at you like your off your Rocker while you spit out of your mouth and laugh so hard you may pee yourself.

Okay toward the end it gets serious and by that I mean I cried, yes I cried because I was soooooo mad at the situation and wanted to punch them all in the face.
That being said I wouldn't have changed a thing.
This story flows so easily and will give you all the feels from the bantering back and forth to Happy, sad, mad, maybe a little wet. Yes I said wet those sex scenes are off the charts.
Did I mention Vaugh is a sexy cocky dimple wearing sex god also? NO? Well he is.

Let's not forget Vaughns family,,, GRANDMA IS A FLIPPING RIOT!!!!
I love how supportive they all are. They're accepting and non judgmental.

Samantha Towle Knocked this out of the park. I loved every single word written in this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A New Hollywood Couple Feb. 18 2017
By Elizabeth Clinton - Published on Amazon.com

How do you describe Vaughn West. Movie star, great guy, loves his family, sarcastic and funny but I think he has met his match with Charly Michaels.
WOW Charly is totally a spitfire, a loyal friend, a fantastic Wardrobe Assistant but when the time comes to cross paths with Vaughn West fan girl comes out.
When Charly & Vaughn meet the hilarity ensues from the get go. You will find yourself laughing out loud between the banter between the two and the tension of the attraction you can see coming right off the pages.
Samantha will have you fall deeper in love with these characters with each new page and each new chapter. All you will find yourself saying is that you don't want their story to end.
Usually secondary characters are in the background of a story but when you meet the whole West family you can't help fall for them too. From his parents, his sisters to his adorable niece Nora but the one that will stand out is Gran a Absolute total spitfire. If you are looking for a book that will leave you with the biggest smile on your face then look no further than Wardrobe Malfunction

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved this book and can't wait to read more of Ms. Towle's books Feb. 21 2017
By Bec - Published on Amazon.com

Being a wardrobe assistant for a movie where Vaughn West is the primary male star would be a dream come true for any woman. But for Charlotte 'Charly' Michaels, it's a living nightmare with Vaughn making her feel like she's a schoolgirl with a crush, prone to doing the stupidest things. Too bad Vaughn has sworn off women while the movie is being made, and Charly has every reason not to get involved with him. Yet, the more time they spend together, the more Charly finds herself falling in love. But how can they be together when Charly is hiding a big secret; a secret that could destroy their chance at happy ever after?

Ms. Towle is a new-to-me author whose books I'm finally glad to have read beginning with this one. Because this romantic comedy was an amazing read that I loved from start to finish, due to the wonderful main characters that face some tough obstacles, the well-written dialogue that had me alternating between laughing and crying, and the fast-paced plot that really flew by until I couldn't believe how quickly I was at the end. Really, this story was addictive and I loved the way it started with what happens to Vaughn, which sends him into a downward spiral until someone finds a way to help him.

As for the dialogue, it was intense due to the main characters back stories. Charly lost those she loved growing up, and the only family she has is her best friend; a guy she would do anything for, which is proven by the secret she's keeping. However, there were so many good light-hearted moments that had me laughing or smiling, especially the moment Vaughn and Charly met for the first time in this story and what the heroine does to him, because he makes her nervous. Luckily, Vaughn finds it within himself to forgive her and can tease her about that moment throughout.

Charly is strong, brave and she's accomplished a lot in her life, considering all that she's been through with losing her mom the way she did. She's also hard-working and I loved learning more about her and how passionate she is for all things fashion. While Vaughn, he's been through a lot in his life too. What his ex-best friend and ex-girlfriend did was unforgivable, but I liked that he managed to pull himself back from the brink of total destruction when it came to his career. Yet, what I liked most was the close relationship he had with his family and how easily they accepted Charly, because it's palpable how much he cares for the heroine.

Overall, Ms. Towle totally impressed me with this book where the scorching sex scenes illustrated the strong chemistry these two had from the moment they met superbly. The way this story ended brought tears to my eyes, because of Vaughn's reaction to Charly's secret. Why couldn't he understand that she had her reasons for doing what she did to help a friend? However, in saying that, I liked that Vaughn listened to a certain secondary character's advice in making things right with Charly, as they're a couple meant-to-be and nothing should be able to keep them apart. Then there's the epilogue which wraps this story up nicely, and Vaughn's speech was absolutely heart-warming. It goes to show that Charly means everything to him. I would recommend Wardrobe Malfunction by Samantha Towle, if you enjoy books with plenty of heat or if you enjoy reading books by Alessandra Torre, Vi Keeland or Penelope Ward.
