I highly recommend this book. It's perfect to give to young people as they enter the workforce, gives them a great way to get an understanding on what to do with their money. Wish I read it when I was 17, not 25 when I did!

Thia book was intended for my nephew - who is into the wealth building phase of his life, with a young family. I read it some 30 years ago and was really impressed with the contents. Which is why I got a copy for him.

New To Financial Planning? Start here!
Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2019Verified Purchase
This book is packed full of sound investment and financial planning advice. Some of it is a little dated, and most of the core principles are things an individual could learn from research into investment blogs and such, but this book delivers wisdom in a relatable and "real-world" method. Definitely a book I'd recommend to anyone looking for direction when starting out with financial planning. Every individual should create a unique plan that works for them, and this book will help lay out solid groundwork to build from.

Plain and Simple Finance Guidebook
Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2015Verified Purchase
This has got to be one of the most helpful books ever written. We happened to hear Dave Chilton speak in person and received a free copy of his book, and even before we finished reading it we ordered a copy for each of our four teenage kids to have for themselves! It's a very simple and practical guide to having your finances in order, and the humorous way he delivers it makes for very enjoyable reading. Everyone should have this book and apply it to their own situation. I would recommend getting the most recent edition.
