The other cover, the cover I was replacing, with velcro straps at the bottom, has a lot more room and can easily be thrown over the E310. I never had a problem with wind blowing the cover off either, but it took a beating in the sun, which is why I bought this to replace it. When this one goes out, I'll be going back to the velcro model since it's easier to put over the BBQ.
Stay away, don't pay the premium, buy one with a proven outdoor track record.
Within the first 2 months, the vinyl started to crack. After 8 months, it was heavily cracked and peeling in spots. Very cheap materials that do not hold up over time when exposed to sunlight.
As you can see from the photo, there are two zipper tracks on either side that zip together and pinch the cover to prevent it from flying away. Fine idea, but the zippers are at the bottom of the cover and are super cheap and finicky when trying to get them started. You will be on your knees on the ground trying to feed the zippers through, cursing at the engineer that thought this was a good idea. Twice.
It's a snug fit on the 310, but it does fit. However, the zipper stops about a foot above the ground; there's not enough slack to zip them all the away around. What's worse is that there is only one zipper per side, so you can't take up the slack in both the front and the back; it's zipped in the front and hanging loose in the back. We get plenty of windy nights in CO, and the partial fit is not good enough to hold on the cover; at least once a month I have to retrieve the cover from somewhere out in the yard. If you do buy this cover, get a few bungee cords as well because the zippers are useless.
Buy the far superior 7573 instead. Better material, better fit, and foolproof Velcro that keeps the cover on.
