When fantasy becomes reality…

The last thing nanny Alice Sommers needs is to be caught skinny-dipping by her sexy, cranky-pants boss—in his pool. Her sister owes a crap-load of money to a slimy loan shark and Alice really needs this job if she has any hope of saving her family. Fortunately, her boss is richer than sin and needs her just as much.

Art dealer Lorenzo Baldi will lose his prestigious career if his anarchist father’s paintings are revealed to the art world. He’s determined to persuade the paintings’ eccentric owner to sell them to him, even if to pull it off, he’ll have to blackmail his daughter’s nanny—a woman with the sexy curves of a Botticelli masterpiece—into being his fake fiancé.

The gorgeous island of Capri inspires some major misbehaving. But even as the loan shark breathes down Alice’s neck and the paintings move closer to the art scene, Lorenzo drops one more bomb that will change everything.

If you like strong, confident, creative heroines and heroes that are hot, hot, hot with a vulnerable streak and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get what he wants, private jets, exotic villas in Italy, and shopping trips to Dolce & Gabanna, you will LOVE this book. Alice Sommers is the nanny for the adorable only daughter of a wealthy, widowed art dealer, but when she decides to go skinny dipping in her boss's pool while he's on a business trip and his daughter's away at camp, it will lead to her being pulled into a weekend subterfuge that will change her life forever.
Carmen Falcone can always be depended on to deliver a fantastic read and this one might be her best yet.

I received this book free from the JeepDiva in exchange of a honest review.
My rating is 4,5 stars

Carmen Falcone is a gifted author. I had some much fun following the adventures of Alice and Lorenzo. Having a plus size woman as a principal character is a wonderful idea. She is never complaining about her weight and she is accepting herself unconditionally. That is a brilliant life lesson for all of us out there: Be proud of who you are.

One word comes to mind when I am thinking about A Weekend Of Misbehaving and that word is ¨heartwarming¨ story. It is a book that I will go back to when I need to disconnect from my daily life and need to add a little sparkle in it. It is spicy and humorous at the same time. The author was able to be as graphic as she wanted in her sex scenes and I did not mind at all. In fact, I was entertained by those sex scenes! I must say that it had rarely happened to me. I had a smile on my face throughout the entire book, this is a good indicator for a feel good book!

It is a classical story between a Nanny and her employer (add a fake engagement to the mix). When using one of those story lines, characters are what is making a huge difference between a great story and a weak one. In this case characters were perfect. Alice Sommers is the embodiment of femininity and courage. When the story began, a loan shark want her to reimburse $20 000 that her sister needed for medical treatment. Feeling responsible for the well-being of her family, she takes it upon herself to make sure that it will be paid back in time. She had sacrificing all of her dreams and aspiration to help her family out.

This latest book, by Author Carmen Falcone, was a magnificent blend of growing love and passion and the strength and weakness of family. Both can cause happiness and anguish when not seen in its true form. In the opinion of this reader, this story is by far the best of all the authors books. It has her trademark of strong sensual characters and humor in surprisingly unexpected places and wonderful twist and turns. But it also shows how ones upbringing, be it viewed right or wrong, can strongly influence the choices we make in life. The ending gave this reader a terrific sense of joy, and great satisfaction in the manner the writer got us there. To say I loved this story is just somehow not saying enough. I'm thinking, how good will her next story be as her writing continues that constant uphill battle to write something even better than the last.

After only on chapter, I knew this was going to be Carmen Falcone's best book ever, and boy, was I ever right! I loved, loved, loved it, and O how I love Alice!

Alice Sommers is having the day from hell. She's about to go to her job as a nanny, when she's threatened by the loan shark she needs to pay; it's for her sister's medical bills. What had been $15000 has become $20000, and she doesn't have that kind of money. Her boss Lorenzo Baldi, whom she thought was away, surprises her skinny dipping, but worst, he's with a very important woman. And this woman is of utmost importance in preventing Lorenzo's career from disintegrating. Just by being herself, Alice charms the woman, Lorenzo decides to pass off Alice as his fiancée to secure his deal; but Alice drives a hard bargain: he will give her the $20000 she desperately needs.

The premise sounds fun, just wait until you read the book! I absolutely adore Carmen Falcone, and A WEEKEND OF MISBEHAVING confirms everything I love about Ms. Falcone ten times over!

Alice is the best heroine ever: she's a plus-size woman, she's confident, she's sexy, and she is honest to a fault. And she talks way too much, to our utter delight. This book has the best dialogues ever: snappy, funny, clever. Alice is a force of nature, and Lorenzo is completely overwhelmed. And so is the reader! Ms. Falcone's writing is young, spirited, colourful, snappy; the pace of the book, relentless, and the characters magnificent. But better yet, this is the strongest story the author has ever written; with each book, she gets better: more creative, she can turn the most obvious plot into a work of genius and make it look like no one has ever thought of that trope before. And Alice, O Alice!

HASH(0x9e1085f4) out of 5 stars A delightful romance Jan. 11 2016
By Marsha @ Keeper Bookshelf - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
The things we do for family or even, because of family. That’s an often insurmountable task to have to bear. Alice and Lorenzo, each in their own ways, knows exactly what this concept means. The difference is Lorenzo has the means to take care of both of their family problems – with a little ingenuity, bribery and a lot of attraction.

Alice need a lot of cash, like yesterday. Lorenzo needs a pretend bride-to-be immediately. They each need something the other can provide without too much trouble. The problems begin when the pretend becomes reality.

I enjoyed A Weekend of Misbehaving very much. It is always delightful to see a curvy woman be everything that a size 2 woman could expect in a relationship. Love should always be about what is within the package, not the wrappings… but neither life nor fiction are always fair. My point is simply Alice is an amazing character no matter what her dress size – and that is a really good thing to read about.

I laughed, chuckled, cried a bit, got angry a bit and overall came away from this emotional roller coaster of a story satisfied at the end of a very good story. Ms Falcone’s novels just get better and I hope to never see that trend end.

If you love a good solid romance between unlikely characters then A Weekend of Misbehaving would be perfect for you. Everyone needs a little romance, and to be themselves in love. Pick this one up and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

*I received an e-ARC of A Weekend of Misbehaving from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. That does not change what I think of this novel.*

HASH(0x9e108a2c) out of 5 stars If you are looking for a fun, sexy, flirty read then you are in the right place!! Enjoy the ride with Alice and Lorenzo! Jan. 11 2016
By Michele McMullen - Published on Amazon.com

If you are looking for a fun, sexy, flirty read then you are in the right place!! Carmen takes us the reader on a fantastic journey with Alice and Lorenzo.
Alice is the nanny to a sweet 10 year old girl that just so happens to have a sexy brooding single dad by the name of Lorenzo. Alice has secretly crushed on the handsome Lorenzo without ever giving him insight to her true feelings for years. She has always kept it professional. Lorenzo has remained focused all these years while providing the best for his daughter. He has never crossed the professional line with Alice until that one day when he arrives home early to find Alice skinny dipping in the pool.
Alice just wants to blow off some steam after a stressful encounter with a loan shark that has decided that she is responsible for her families indiscretions. She is certainly not expecting her boss to be home with company let alone see her in all her prized possessions in all their naked glory! Lorenzo is not prepared for Alice and the thoughts she is now invoking in him. He is now enthralled with her and this sets into motion the sexy, witty journey of this unlikely pair!! He needs a favor and she needs to pay off a debt! Let the games begin! Loved the witty banter between the couple. Alice does not disappoint to put Lorenzo in his place and at every turn! She is certainly a well equipped opponent in this battle of the wits and sexes!!
I was gifted a copy of this book for an honest review!

HASH(0x9e108dec) out of 5 stars Makes me want to misbehave! Jan. 11 2016

A Weekend of Misbehaving is the latest must-read story from Carmen Falcone. Lorenzo and Alice scorch the pages in this lovely yet sexy read. Alice is the nanny to Lorenzo’s daughter, but circumstances arise and a fake engagement changes her status. If you love your heroines with sass and who embrace their curves then this story is for you. If you love your heroes sexy, Italian, and who always get what they want, this story is for you. If you have a pulse then this story is for you!

Lorenzo knows what he wants and goes after it. Failure is not an option, heck, it’s not even in his vocabulary. So when life throws him a curveball he improvises. Improvises so much that he just turned his nanny into his fiancée. At least for a few days. It’s urgent that Lorenzo get his hands on few paintings, and if he has to lie about his relationship to get them, he will.

Alice is all heart. Because of her father’s dying wish, she feels the need to take care of her family. When Alice’s sister gets into trouble, Alice needs money to get her out. Only, she doesn’t have that kind of money…but Lorenzo does. The cash she needs for just a few days of pretending…what could possibly go wrong?

I adored Alice so freaking much! Alice is definitely a top favorite for me. She’s talented, caring, and she rocks her curves. Lorenzo and Alice together were freaking hot!

“Lorenzo. Oh, the many ways she could pronounce his name. Scream it. Whimper it.”

This is the latest book by Carmen and let me tell you it is a book worth reading. Who doesn't want to misbehave for a weekend let alone with Lorenzo?
Alice promised her dad to take care of her family when he was gone and she did just that and put her life on hold to care for her family. Lorenzo is a single parent and had a bad relationship before his wife had passed. They both weren't looking for a relationship, but we all know what happens when two people pretend to be in a relationship-oops instant sparks occur and you can fight it all it wants, but most likely than not you will end up together.
I love Alice she is so witty and bold and boy is she a good actress. She loves with her heart though and that includes that little girl who is the apple of her eye. Lorenzo is a hot alpha man who puts his work and daughter first. He never thought twice to look at his nanny until he wanted a prize possession and that included using her to get it. Though she uses him to get what she needs to save her family as well.
Sit back and relax and enjoy this story of a curvy, sexy, laughable and loveable women and a hard headed alpha rich man who loves with his heart once he lets his past go. I love the proposal and how his secret he tried to hide was already known to the lovely Italian lady and she kept it hush until the end. hehe women are smarter than you think men.
